I have to say, I'm not in love with the new Polar Bear Club...yet. I need to give it a few more listens, but I'm not hearing a lot of stand-out tracks. 2/3 through. I really don't know how I feel about it. I've enjoyed what I've heard but so much of it sounds the same. Will definitely take a couple more listens. Edit: 3/4 Tango though. So good.

I like the first half of the new Blink album. Snake Charmer doesn't do much for me, but the rest of the songs are enjoyable enough. I completely lose interest after Heart's All Gone.

Gave the new Saves the Day a listen last night and I have to say that I dig it a lot. "Undress Me" is so good.

I can't help but be let down a little bit by the new Banner Pilot, but I think that's just because Collapser was so perfect.

So, I saw Saves the Day for the first time FINALLY last night and seriously, Chris' voice did not bother me in the slightest and like half the set were songs I loved. A lot of Stay Way You Are. Certain Tragedy! This Is Not an Exit! Opened with Firefly! I would see them again tonight if I could.

Just discovered this band called Timeshares and I think a lot of people here will like them. Pop-punk similar to Latterman & The Menzingers....so it's pretty similar to a lot of other stuff going around but they just caught my attention for some reason. timeshares.bandcamp.com/album/bearable

wow, this thread has been dead for a while. listen to the new Dopamines. i wasn't that into it, but i think i'm starting to like it more. it's like Expect The Worst was the fucking ridiculous party and Vices is the day after the party. it's really fucking good, definitely check out 10 Stories, Don't Mosh The Organ, Paid In Full and Vices. easily some of their best songs.

And me! And if anyone has Collapser and can upload it for me I would be so happy, this mediafire thing is ruining my life.

I wasn't going to bother with the new Dopamines but I've been getting more in the mood for that kind of stuff lately so I guess I'll check it out.
I gave Daytrader's album a couple listens the other day and I really like it. Keeps my interest a lot more than the EP did.

that Masked Intruder album does kick a whole lot of ass. definitely one of the better records of the year. the new Teenage Bottlerocket came out a little while ago too and it's pretty solid. every one of their albums is so much fucking fun. they're playing in Fargo on November 3rd with Dropkick Murphys, i can't wait to see them again.
also, not really pop punk anymore, but the new Title Fight album is incredible. those dudes are really hitting their stride now.

new TBR was kind of a let down.
I don't particularly enjoy it. But there's some jams on there.
Never Gonna Tell You, and Go With the Flow are bangers for sure.
Some of the songs...I get what they're trying to say...but it's not executed well.

I liked the new album but I'm wondering how long it will be before their schtick grows tiring. Every album is basically the same thing.
I'm the only guy in Top Gun she ever dated.

I'm all about Ramones-core, so TBR never gets old for me. Except the new one. The lyrics are poopy for the most part. Seriously, this is going to go down as one of my favorite songs ever. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jdj1sm0SDPkEvery song on the 7" and the full length are great...but this one. I love the guy/girl trade off vocals.

Broadway Calls have been putting some fucking killer tracks on splits and whatnot lately. Hope they put together a new full-length soon.

i haven't really kept up with BC much but i really enjoyed that newest song they released. so stoked they signed with No Sleep, I love that label. you guys should check out Mud Mouth from SF. they described themselves as: 'People who like Guided by Voices/early early Green Day/The Nerves will probamaybily dig this.' and you know what? they are absolutely correct on that. i wasn't quite sure what to think right away, but I've been digging it more the more i listen. mudmouth.bandcamp.com/album/mud-mouth
