Crimson Peak! If you haven't seen it, it's a good movie. Just don't expect outright horror. Kind of has the same tastefulness as Pan's Labyrinth. It's a mid-paced movie.

Crimson Peak was all right. It felt a little too campy most of the time, but it was visually stunning for sure.
Just saw Fury Road. Well, fuck. That was some action.

Other than the beautiful imagery in a few scenes, Crimson Peak was one of the worst non-kids movies I've seen in recent memory TBH

We Need to Talk About Kevin had the makings of a really good movie but oh my god I can't remember the last time I've seen such heavy handed bullshit.

Watched Kingsmen again. That was one of the most unexpectedly ultra-violent movies I've ever seen, but it was pretty funny, and of course Firth boners galore.

Finally watched Deadpool. It's was entertaining but took a little bit for me to get used to the persona. Was a little 'trying too hard' for me.
Sicario. Holy shit.

I've tried to watch Pitch Perfect 2 twice and I just can't make myself do it. I hear people quoting it constantly and talking about how much they love the movies but they just miss me I guess.
I watched Whiplash and it was alright, not my thing. Also watched Still Alice and cried a bit.

I've seen quite a lot of movies lately! Woohoo for me.
The other day Pan was on HBO and it was soooooo laughably bad. There's a scene where they arrive in Neverland and the slaves are chanting the words to "Smells Like Teen Spirit." I have no fucking clue what the director's vision was, but whatever it was he missed the mark.

I've never seen the movie but saw that scene on tumblr a few weeks ago and I just can't imagine why they did that.
I watched Chronicle last night, I love Dane Dehaan so I've wanted to see it since it came out. I liked it!

I liked Chronicle!
I really really want to see Green Room, but I don't think it's playing here.

Captain America: Civil War was fucking awesome. I honestly think it was as good as Winter Soldier, if not better.

A nearby theater played a Rifftrax movie for "Time Chasers". It's the first Rifftrax movie I've ever seen but it was really funny and I'm glad Nick took me.

We watched Ex Machina last weekend. Fuck, that movie was so good.

The Green Room about a week ago. Loved it. I liked it slightly more than Blue Ruin, probably because references/soundtrack. Also I didn't get to see Blue Ruin on the big screen. There was about the same level of violence. But Blue Ruin was very much a study of a single character, whereas Green Room was more of a scene. Don't know if that makes sense. It does to me!

Just got back from seeing the theater version of Dirty Dancing, it was so fun. I wasn't sure what to expect from it but it wasn't a musical or anything, really just like watching the movie live. Pretty cool seeing what stage tricks they used to pull off some of the scenes, the whole setup was impressive. You spend the whole time dying for the last scene. Theater went apeshit at "nobody puts Baby in a corner" which was awesome.

Netflix got exclusive streaming rights for Disney and all of their subsidiaries. i so hope this means i can watch all of the Marvel movies in a row, but i have a feeling they're still gonna rotate some of that stuff in and out. hopefully this means The Force Awakens on Netflix around September though!

I have a feeling, knowing Disney, that it'll mean year round rights to the sequels no one asked for and a rotating portfolio of older stuff like what they have now. Basically, I doubt anything will change other than you won't be able to get free streaming on Amazon anymore.

They need to put up all the Disney Channel Original Movies. I've always got the urge to watch The Phantom of the Megaplex and Alley Kats Strike!

Basically, I doubt anything will change other than you won't be able to get free streaming on Amazon anymore. I think you're sadly right. The use of 'latest films' in their announcement still has me hopeful we will see newer stuff quicker though. They need to put up all the Disney Channel Original Movies. I've always got the urge to watch The Phantom of the Megaplex and Alley Kats Strike! This would be great. A huge chunk of those never got a home release, so it wouldn't hurt them to put those up.

I see a couple show up every once in a blue moon. Like, I think Cadet Kelly was on there and there's the one where there's like a school of super heroes up now. Hopefully more go up.

Watched Zootopia last night. Loved it.
Edit: Ohhh I also recently rewatched The Dark Knight, good fucking god I love that movie. TDKR is such a mess in comparison.

We watched Zootopia this evening! I thought it was super cute. I'd want a sequel to see more of the animals and where they live and stuff.

To keep up with the theme (and because we finished Deep Space Nine nooooooo) we watched Inside Out last night. We both cried. We were a little drunk, but still. I moved around a lot as a kid and it really hit me close haha. I loved Amy Poehler, she was fantastic.

Finding Dory! Tugs at your heartstrings. Makes you laugh both with clever humor and cheesy humor. Weird pacing though. I really enjoyed it. Not as "classic" as Nemo but still pretty great! Oh, and be sure to stay after the credits!
Yo and ALL OF THE DISNEY CHANNEL ORIGINAL MOVIES ARE ON DEMAND RIGHT NOW! They're celebrating their 100th movie!
