I can has no source of income?
But for reals, I would have gotten a new graphics card, but my computer has the old graphics port. So, when I eventually get a new computer it will have been a waste to buy a new graphics card for the slot I have right now.

I was halfway through my first season on Football Manager 10, top of the league, 'avin a laugh, when Vista decided to throw a wobbly whilst I was saving, thus corrupting the save file and making me start again. Suck my fucking testes, Microsoft.
I blame those fucks from Droylsden. They knew they were in for a right spanking in the next match.

Played the L4D2 demo today and it was a big letdown. The characters aren't as good, the music doesn't fit at all, the sound effects seem off, and the new weapons and special infected don't really do much to alter the game. It seems to completely lack the creepy atmosphere of the first one and feels more like a traditional shooter. Lame.

Yeah, the demo bored me, to be honest. It was so straightforward and dull.

Can't say I was overly impressed with it, but then the fact my laptop ran it in the first place was good enough for me.

Yeah, it definitely didn't feel as creepy as the first game. Even the first demo did a good job of it. I'm still looking forward to playing Borderlands.
Anyone play DragonAge: Origins yet?

Haha, the first time I did that it was a mistake and I was like 0_o were you trying to resurrect someone, and accidentally fed him one? we discovered it because we found out that restore spells/items healed ghosts and decided to take that to the illogical extreme.

Yeah, it was something like that. Now that I think of it I think it was a super potion or whatever they're called, but it was still quite a nice surprise

Fuck MW:2.
I really want to play Dragon Age though, that game looks fucking sick.

I'm pretty excited for MW2, but Im going to wait a while before I get it. Dragon Age looks pretty beast, although I'm not really sure. 3rd person games are really hit and miss for me. Baulder's Gate was pretty good, but the review I watched made Dragon Age seemed lacking. Even if it got a 9.0 rating. I'll have to rent it/ Torrent it.

What exactly are they doing with MW:2 that makes it worth an entire new game? I've asked that question to like 5 friends who are excited, and they all could only name like 2-3 features they were adding, and most of them had the exact same response, lol. I'm not a fan of console FPS games, so it's not like it matters to me, but I just don't get why everybody is so excited that the same multiplayer game is being put out, except maybe because it's "new" and all their friends will buy it.

My fiance is sleeping when he gets home from work, waking up around 11:30 and then going to get MW2. Then playing it until he has to go to work at 6am. I'm not going to get my TV or 360 back for at least another 2 weeks. :/

What exactly are they doing with MW:2 that makes it worth an entire new game? I'm mainly buying it for the story mode, though not as many people will be playing the multi-player on COD4 for a couple of months I reckon, until some people decide they prefer COD4 for one reason or another. I'm keeping my expectations low, so if it is really good I can be happy with myself, but if it's rubbish I won't mind too much and trade it in for something better. Though some of the things they're adding look like a really bad idea, like the 'bling' perk for your weapon. It's going to break the game mechanics quite a lot...

Well, CoD 4 was one of the best FPS's on the xbox so far. The fact that a sequel is coming out, should make any console goer excited. It's basically adding on how every sequel does. A lot of the same stuff that everybody loved, with a bunch of new stuff thrown in. Hopefully, the new stuff won't ruin the game. Or any of the stuff they inevitably took out.
