I like to imagine in that shot, Bane's like all autotuned, going "SHAWTAAAYYY!"

I hope after the credits roll, there's a teaser at the end where Bane hints at another reboot by saying "CAN WE START AGAIN?!" This made me snort water up my nose.

I hope after the credits roll, there's a teaser at the end where Bane hints at another reboot by saying "CAN WE START AGAIN?!" i've seen a ton of complaining about the mask, but honestly, it looks way more appropriate for Nolan's universe than the wrestling mask. dude looks appropriately terrifying.

I think the mouth piece just looks too bulky. That's it. It reminds me of the alien's inner mouth from Alien.

Talia! Also: someone said that Bane's mask looks like a sideways Goatse. Now that I've seen it, it's all that I see.

I saw this on Twitter the other day:
"I wanna Barbara Gordon on the street, but a Talia Al Ghul in the bed"
nerd/rap references omg

I really do wish they could make a full adaptation of Knightfall (but not go on into Azrael, cuz really, who wants to see that?), but seriously, this is making me so stoked that Nolan actually seems to be using parts of Knightfall's story arc. i think i'm gonna start cutting myself off from most of the news from the sets and stuff because I really want to be surprised by this movie.

Anne Hathaway in Cat Woman garb: ohnotheydidnt.livejournal.com/63016030.htmlAm I the only one that thinks her costume looks super cheap and kitchy? I hate the boots, mask and hair especially. I was hoping that they wouldn't go that route with the costume, but there you have it.

I haaaaate when people design superhero costumes with high heels built into them. You can't very well jump from rooftop to rooftop when your shoes are gonna break if you do.

It's so fucking dumb. Like, it's 2011. Is the world going to implode if we have female superhero/villian characters that can manage to be visually appealing AND strong AND functional?

Yeah, I was hoping they'd make the cat part slightly less literal this time. And the shoes are ridiculous. She runs in those she'll break her ankle. Nolan, I am disappoint. Couldn't she have been in clingy black with, I dunno, sensible shoes? And maybe a bun or hood so her hair doesn't leave DNA everywhere? Bad thief. This catwoman design always made the most sense to me. And was awesome and spunky.

One day, someone is going to put Catwoman in a movie and not be completely fucking ridiculous about it. One day. I thought we finally made it to that point, but I was wrong.

If Catwoman ends up just being a romantic interest cum damsel I'm going to be so mad. LET HER BE BADASS AND INTERESTING LIKE YOUR GUY CHARACTERS.
The costume, however, implies not. You can be saucy and feisty in combat boots, damnit. And that mask and ear headband is so shit looking. I love Catwoman so much why do people keep ruining her?

casey and I went to this. It was awesome! Bane's voice definitely didn't sound like that clip of him at the stadium. It was ~powerful~ and British. This "prologue" wasn't better than TDK's but still awesome and the scenes cut together at the end got me so pumped! Oh and we got free t-shirts with a supposed Batman logo and "LEGEND" under it.
