If the Ducks would play like this against everyone they'd be fucking dominating. They need to keep this up.
And right after I post that, the Red Wings score. Cunts.

Hat trick for Alex Semin and the Caps might escape this game with a W.
Or Evander Kane will bat one in right out of mid air with less than a minute to go to tie it. How he did that was beyond me.

Hat tricks for Semin, Richardson and Tavares tonight. That's like 6 in two days.

Kovalchuk was a healthy scratch for the Devils tonight. That's probably going to cause a shitstorm for the media there.

What a heart-breaker. Good game though, Wings vs. Ducks. Plenty of intense goal-scoring.

Parros, you schlub, what an awesome break-away goal! Why shoot at openings when you can just lump the puck through the goalie? lol

Neuvirth with his first career shutout tonight! Best full-game the Caps have played all season.
Devils look like balls. 3-0 Sharks after the first period lol

23 seconds, 2 fights in the Pens/Flyers game. NOW THAT'S OLD TIME HOCKEY! Shelly got busted open by Engelland. Second time he's fucked someone up this year.

I've been so frustrated with the Caps powerplay the past few games and we scored three times with the man advantage tonight. YES MOTHERFUCKERS.

If the Leafs don't run over the Sens tomorrow night, I'm gonna be pretty bummed. This losing streak is brutal considering how much better they are this year.

At least you're not a Devils fan. Their season is mirroring the Leafs' start to last year. Only the Leafs didn't spend $100 mil on one player.

There's talks of firings and big trades in the Sabres camp. Can't say I blame them, but it would be a shame if they cut Lindy Ruff after thirteen years because he can't make a mediocre team win games. Yes, I'm referring to the same team that had a Vezina and Calder and a NE Division Championship last year. Bottom line: A lot of that was luck and serendipity, with a generous amount of help from Ryan Miller being his usual bad self.
Anyway, my point is that the season that the Sabres are having now is the season they were supposed to have last year. They got lucky, management refused to make any big moves in the trades, and now everyone's pooping their pampers because our jokingly bad first-string offense can't put the puck in the net. Durrrrhhh.
I think they need to give Lindy a serious look in the off-season, but if they let him go during the year, you can expect buildings to burn in Buffalo. People like him a lot.

I could see the Sabres trading Roy or maybe Stafford this year. Not sure what's up with Myers but he's having a pretty bad sophomore slump this season. I have to think that Miller will turn it around sooner or later.

Roy, Stafford, Vanek and Connolly could all go and I don't think the team would suffer at all. Bottom line, I really don't believe that Sabres management is serious about winning the cup. Sure, they want people to go, so they continuously search for great goalies to keep them in it during the regular season, but it's just a well-known goddamned fact that a strong goaltender behind an average batch of forwards won't take you to the finals. They know they can get people into those seats without spending money on truly clutch, proven players, so they drag their heels and talk about building a roster for the future every year. Remember, this is management that let go of Drury and Briere after a season of record wins.

I don't think there was much they could do to hang onto Drury and Briere since they were UFA's and got ridiculous contracts from their respective teams. I always saw the Sabres as a team built from the goalie out so they usually focus on getting more defensive players every summer and build within the organization for offense. That works for a lot of teams but I agree that they need to change things if it constantly only leads to marginal success. However, they did gave Vanek that monster contract after his 40 goal season.

Who's watching the insanity that is this Ducks/Pens game? Half way through the game and there are 30+ scoring chances in this game!

Heard Getzlaf and Crosby we're at eachother's throats in that game.
We need to stop blowing leads in the third period. At least we won again.

It got scrappy quick, then everyone simultaneously decided to take it out on the goalies instead. It's been an endless string of shooting.

I'm not sure what it says about us that "Bro Hymn" is our goal scoring song. I forget most teams' songs... if I remember right, the Hawks have a good one.
