Tried that. Caps-Thrashers stream is obnoxiously slow. Sabres-Sens game isn't for some reason.

Found one that worked. Caps looking pretty sloppy. Neuvirth's had a couple really good saves, though. Saved our ass after a couple of defensive breakdowns. Oduya and Bogosian are killing our top line though.

This is a very strange string of opening games. I don' think I would have been able to predict a vast majority of the results.

Totally forgot it was opening week. Totally not surprised to see my Ducks down 0 - 2, but a 1 - 8 goal differential? I smell a long season ahead.

I love Wisniewski. And I hate Avery, so this works out quite well.

Yeah, that site's been good for hockey games. Football is another story. I haven't been able to watch a lot of tonight's game because I'm kind of swamped.
I did see Hjalmarsson's dirty hit on Pominville in the Sabres game though. League will probably take a look at that.

I had the Flyers game on here today. Boo-urns.
Can't believe the Pens did something productive today, yay.

No shit. Losing is one thing, but losing by this much is just insane.

yeah the Ducks defense kind of sucks......St Louis outshot them 53-14 today. Yikes.
Caps didn't look their best tonight but they won so I guess that's what matters. Thank god Ottawa didn't come to play.

Nice to see the 'Nucks win one before going on the road. Would have been happier to see a more decisive victory but hey, a win is a win.

Oh god, I hope the Avs take this one tonight. I hate the Red Wings. Very much. I'm so glad this game is on TV!

Caps PK 100% on the year what what.
Still some kinks that need to be worked out but I can't complain with the start they're off to.

Well goddamnit, nothing like giving a team their first win of the season. Ducks earned it though, we just gave em' to many damned chances. Need to see the second and third line start to make a difference pretty damned soon.

The Ducks need to step up their defense. It's only gotten worse each year for the last 3 years.

I'm certainly not happy the Ducks won, I was really hoping that we'd destroy them, but in the end, we got this: I believe that dogs name might be Hiller.

Haha. How many shots did he block tonight?

Haha. How many shots did he block tonight? 36. He's really the only thing that held the game together for the Ducks until the 3rd, when all of the sudden they seemed to remember how to play the hockey, and kind of exploded. 'Nucks just got steam rolled out of the blue in the back half of the period.

I really love Hiller, but I think they shouldn't have put him in the front until this year. They should have taken last year to work him up a little more. But I do love that guy. He's such a great player.

I do dig Hiller actually, he's a great goaltender. If he had a better defensive core in front of him, I think he'd be even better.

Oh, definitely. If Randy Carlyle would get his shit together and get some awesome guys on D, the team would be more than awesome.
