On the grounds that they're...for kids or something? Stuff for kids isn't good? Nothing else is as consistently enjoyable for me. They're fun, they're funny, they have incredible backup stories by the likes of Michael DeForge, Liz Prince, and Paul Pope. I should say that it's impossible for me to read superhero comics because I have nothing but contempt for them at this point.

I definitely need to check out the Adventure Time comics.
Been digging the heck out of Spera lately too.

Marceline and the Scream Queens is sooooo good.
Just got the second volume of Matsumoto's Sunny, which I am so excited to read. Matsumoto is greatly underappreciated.

I just started getting into comics. I read the first issue of Chew the other day and was blown away. This looks incredible.

I kinda want to start reading comics, but it's so daunting. I think "I want to start reading Wonder Woman/Deadpool/Guardians of the Galaxy" but I have no clue where to start because there's so many series and timelines and collections.

Cable and Deadpool is a good regular Deadpool series (it ended a long time ago but it's a little more character driven than superhero comics tend to be). I love Deadpool MAX but it's also nuts.

Last issue of Saga slayed me. Nick, if you want a different kind of hero comic, give the latest run of Hawkeye a go. It's basically what he does when he's not helping the Avengers and stuff and it's great. Also been reading Deadly Class, Black Science, and read the first issue of Nailbiter (which I'll probably continue to follow). I started the latest Guardians of the Galaxy book when it started, but I missed a few issues, and eventually got too lazy to catch up. If you like Doctor Who, you might like the new run of Silver Surfer.

I caught up on Saga, and it's fun and imaginative but I have no idea why people are losing their minds over it. I mean, Fiona Staples is doing top-shelf work but the story hasn't even moved enough to really develop anything yet.
