This past episode was easily one of my favorites of the season. I really hope that we still get to see the Warblers from time to time, I love them and their harmonies. I love "Somewhere Only We Know" so much, and when Blaine was nearly crying at the end...Sigh. BLAINE PLEASE BE MY BOYF. And at the end, when Santana was wearing her "Lebanese" shirt...GAH. My heart, it breaks. Yeessss to all of this. <3 Blaine and his song. Poor Santana. I also liked the Quinn/Rachel mashup of 'Unpretty' and 'I Feel Pretty'. Way to capture the totally fucked up inner dialogue of SO MANY GIRLS AND WOMEN, you two! I kind of wanted to cry.

I also liked the Quinn/Rachel mashup of 'Unpretty' and 'I Feel Pretty'. Yeah, I really enjoyed that one. Also very yes to Somewhere Only We Know. Usually I don't love the Warblers when Blaine's singing (mostly on song choice) but that was great. Barbara Streisand Flash Mob was also fun. I think I actually liked most of the songs/performances this week.

I liked this episode. It wasn't my favorite, but it was still good. Though I did have a major problem with the "Kurt getting crowned queen" thing. Like, I know this is television, but no school or principal in their right mind would ever let that shit go down to the point that the principal actually reads off that the openly gay kid is the prom queen. That stunt was obviously pulled by kids who wanted to hurt Kurt, so why would Figgins even read that he was the winner?
But I totally loved Kurt getting crowned. And I never thought I'd say this, but I'm starting to feel kind of bad for Karofsky. When he started crying in the hall...GAH.
Also, Blaene, where were you in high school and why weren't you my boyfriend, good LAWD. He pretty much always does the perfect boyfriend thing, it's just too much!
I LOVE "Rolling in the Deep", and I think Rachel would have been perfect for it, but Jesse St. James basically growling through all of his parts ruined it. I understand how it works for their relationship, but ugh, Jesse! I know you can sing better than that, knock it off!
Trouty Mouth was pretty endearing this episode. I normally am not a huge fan of that character (kind of boring), but I loved him in the "Friday" song and his and Rachel's and Mercedes's prom-on-a-budget. And his bolo tie.
EDIT: HAHAHA shit, by Trouty Mouth I mean Sam.

It was.. okay. I am getting so sick of Quinn. And the Kurt thing sucked, right.
Couldn't believe they did Friday, hah. And I would have liked Rolling in the Deep if she had done it by herself I think but I hated her voice with his in the chorus and I am mad at them for ruining it.
Really starting to love Sam, though.

This sums up my opinion of Glee over the last couple months: I didn't like their version of "Rolling In the Deep" at all. And OH MY GOD I DO NOT CARE about the Quinn/Finn/Rachael love triangle. It just goes on and on and it's so fucking boring. Oh, I loved the unintentional hilarity of Finn and Jesse's "COME AT ME BRO" shoving match.

yeah, Rolling in the Deep seemed like a good idea, but it just didn't work. I don't even know what was wrong with it. it was alright. Kurt getting called was pretty intense, and him almost forcing Karofsky to come out was kind of a douche move. seriously though. Ian Brennan sucks. proof: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Glee_episodes almost all of the worst episodes are written by him if you ever see "written by Ian Brennan" in the credits, lower your expectations

Knowing how this show handles gay shit my money is on a Karofsky suicide.

I don't think anyone on that show knows what genre they're supposed to be. The tone and most of the characters are fairly inconsistent week to week.

Oh how I wish it were Shuester.
If it's a parent then surely it would be Finn's Mum or Kurt's dad as they're the only ones we've met. But then surely they'd both be heavily effected.
Hope it leads to a decent storyline for one of the background characters. Needs moar Mercedes, Tina, Mike, Puck, Lauren, Santana, Brittney... etc.

Thing is if it's Kurt's dad or Finn's mom, then they've lost both their parents, and that's fuckin awful. Don't go there Glee . Possibly Rachel's mom? And since I'm guessing she didn't have too much family, Quinn decides to take her baby back?

Maybe Quinn's mom? She's still around, right? I was going to guess Sue's sister, but I don't think the other characters even know about her, so it wouldn't affect any of them.

Like I could see there being an episode about Sue's sister dying and the effect it has on her, but I don't know how it would effectively tie into them at competition.

Karofsky's dad? Nothing sympathetics up a character like having their kindly parent die. Or maybe Sams. That would lead him into epic bad times.

I have a feeling that whoever dies won't be someone who has been on screen. it'd be awesome if they opened with the death Six Feet Under style, but that probably wouldn't happen

LOL. Of course it affects them if they just volunteer to arrange the funeral of someone they don't even know!
"I'm not going to plan the memorial, I'm still processing this." "We'll do it for you, even though you've done nothing but torment us!" "That's nice, but..." "Oh, we insist!"

The funeral part was really sad and a tear-jerker, but the rest was kind of boring. Except for Quinn at the end. "YOU'LL SEE." There is a whole bunch of crazy hiding behind those pretty eyes.

I enjoyed the the Willy Wonka song, and I really liked Santana, Kurt and Mercedes' auditions.
Other than that, eh. I just hate how much time is devoted to the love triangle when none of them have any chemistry with each other and none of them are interesting or likeable enough to invest in.

They obviously have no idea what to do with Quinn anymore. She pinballs between sweet and likable and calculating antagonist for no reason at all. A shame, because Dianna Argon is a good actress.

So bored of those three, right. I just.. despise Rachel anymore. When Finn was holding that flower at the end I couldn't even feel sorry for him because I just don't caaaare.
I cannot handle funerals/the thought of loved ones dying though so the funeral kinda wrecked my day. And all the talking of her sister before it. Hate.

I don't understand people who hate Jesse and love Finn. Maybe if they were real people it'd make more sense (though you should hate Finn then too for everything he's done to Quinn) but they're characters. And Jesse is just way more entertaining than Finn.

Wow, I had no idea people actually hated Jesse. Sure, his character is a shallow, manipulative jackass, but he's also got that whole rougishly charming thing going on, and like Tanya said, he's at least entertaining. Maybe I'm just not invested in Rachel enough to care that he's been such an asshole, haha.
