I really liked the last episode a lot. It felt one of the older ones when the music wasn't the whole story. I teared up a few times.

Tonight they were trying to give Community a run for their money as the most meta show on TV, haha. It was alright, I guess. Fans of Mike Chang will enjoy it, though. He busts a fuckin' move during their sectionals performance. And that song they did at the end (I think it's called "Dog Days Are Gone"?) was really good. Who does the original?

Mike and Brittany's dance was great, as was Santana singing. Mercedes and Tina's duet was also muchly appreciated.
This episode reminded me a lot of the earlier ones, which I think is a good thing.

The past couple have reminded me a lot of the earlier ones and it's making me excited for the rest of the season. I just hope it stays that way.
Tina needs to sing more.

Santana fucking killed it with her song. She's becoming my favorite singer on the cast. And man, she keeps getting hotter and hotter with every episode.
I REALLY hope this is the end of the Will/Emma disaster.
As horribly obnoxious as Rachael has been this season, I really enjoyed the scenes with her and Kurt in this one. They play off each other really well; I love Kurt's subtle little reactions of "did she really just say that?" haha

I could only watch about a quarter of it. I thought it was pretty boring, but I guess I didn't give it a whole lot of time to make up for that. I heard that Darren Criss's song was great though!
I really wish that there was less of the bullying kid though. I get that their message with his story is all about healing and growing and whatever, but I wish they'd give less screen time to the hateful bully and spend more time developing characters like Tina, Mike, Mercedes or whoever the new girl is they got to replace Kurt (I feel bad for not remembering her name). I'm kind of mad that there are so many characters with awesome potential that are relegated to the background unless they're directly involved with either some nonsense about Rachel and Finn or one of the "this week's very special message about tolerance" sequences.
But also, more Bieste?

I totally agree. I couldn't possibly give less of a shit about the Rachel-Finn-Quinn-Sam drama. I would love to see Mike Chang more often (holy fucking shit that guy can dance), and they used to at least TRY to make Mercedes more than the token black character. So much for that. As for Kurt, one of the reviewers at The AV Club referred to his new school as "Tolerance Narnia." I LOLed.
That said, I liked the last couple of episodes. "Fat Bottomed Girls" is one of my favorite numbers they've ever done; you can't go wrong with handing Puck a guitar.

I thought this episode was fucking awful. Boring and totally messy. And I get the general 'We shouldn't teach abstinence only sex ed in schools' message and am totally on board, but bringing in a supposedly 'awesome' character who comes in and slams on the chastity club for being naive and frigid is just as shitty.
Gwyneth Paltrow's character is horrible. I never enjoy seeing Shue try to be sexy. But it was nice to see Santana actually get a storyline, and I always like seeing Kurt's relationship with his dad.
The Afternoon Delight gag has already been done, and done better.

When Brittany was talking about the stork getting ready to bring her her baby, and they pan to Rachel's face....I just about died.
This episode would have been great if it didn't have Gwyneth Paltrow. I'm so over her. Her character is AWFUL.
