I'd have a hard time arguing with that. BETRAYER! I'll go back to the Archer thread to sulk.

Parks and Rec is the best, Archer is the funniest. There's a difference!

I watched a few episodes of Archer and a few moments made me laugh. Other than that, I only thought it was okay.

Abed is my favorite tv character in anything ever, so this episode was great for me. Also, I love how they brought back the idea they brought up in the bar episode that Troy is the most normal and well-adjusted person in the whole group, and that maybe they should be listening to him instead of Jeff.

Man, they totally ruined Annie as a character. When the show started she was weird, awkward and hilarious. Then the writers were like, wait, the actress is really good looking! Better have her try and hook up with literally every male character on the show!
Troy, Abed and The Dean need to get their own spinoff.

I wouldn't argue with you on that, Justin.

Yeah, Annie just is not interesting anymore. I have to say my least favorite parts of the show are when they try to hook up characters. I mean, it's inevitable with that many characters, but I don't think it adds anything.

I think Britta's getting Flanders'd into the "sad cat lady/politically active because she wants to seem intelligent" thing. That used to be an accessory to her personality, now it IS her personality.

Yeah, Jeff, Britta, and Annie have kinda regressed as characters. That especially sucks because Joel MacHale was kinda what sold everyone on the show in the first place.

This episode cemented for me that I can't stand Annie anymore. All she ever does is widen her eyes and pout, I'm sick of it. Other than that, Troy's a badass, Abed's cool, Britta would be better if they gave her better stuff to do and the Dean is the best character on the show or possibly anything ever.

Annie's such a non-character now. She kind of just fills whatever plot function they need that week.
Troy and Abed, however, are the greatest thing that have ever happened to television. The Dean being a close second.

This show finally clicked for me. I'm midway through the first season and I love Troy and Abed. They've got such a hilariously sincere relationship and have liked them ever since the "it's cool to know other people think about this stuff, too."
The halloween episode was too much for me. Abed had me on the floor.

Yeah, Troy and Abed are the heart of the show for me.
Batman Abed is just amazing.

If you have the DVDs (or look for them on youtube) watch the outtakes from the disc with the halloween episode on it. They did like 20 takes of that scene with different lines every time and they're all fantastic.

Dan Harmon is even cooler than I thought he was. He co-wrote the comic Scud with Rob Schrab and founded the Dead Alewives, who are famous for the "CAN I HAVE A MOUNTAIN DEWWWWWW" Dungeons and Dragons thing.

Troy's number was one of the funniest things I've seen all year.
I'm so simple. Gunshot, fire, angry troll! Awesome!

I thought it was an OK episode but it DID remind me why I love this show. Like, I think the jokes are getting a tad stale but the format just rules for me. It's so unlike all of the other sitcoms right now. Lots of surreal humor. Lots of great references to things. Lots of good physical humor (for example, evil Troy putting on the evil beard and evil Abed explaining the evil universe).

I loved Britta in this episode so much. When she was telling Abed how sexy the Indiana Jones diorama was I died.

Totally loved last night's episode. Anyone catch Troy's line about how, at the party they were about to go to, the dean was going to be serving "taco meat he got from the Army?" The implication being that the "zombie" outbreak from last year's Halloween ep will happen again (because they all got their memory wiped and don't remember it). Brilliant.

I almost cried laughing by the end of Abed's horror story. 'AFTER THEY EARRRRNNNNEEEED IT'
I love Britta. She seems to have her personality back this season which makes me happy.
