why the fuck would you call an album 'Cosmic Egg'? why the fuck does this band even exist? and who the fuck even listens to them? Please use this thread to raise other Wolfmother related questions or try your best to answer some of mine.

Why does Australia not just ban homegrown music?
Like, you have AC/DC and The Living End. That should be enough.

I was working a snowboard/ski show a few years ago and every hour they're would be a demo where guys would do tricks off of a jump. They played that fucking "Woman" song on repeat every single time. I worked 36 hours that weekend. By Sunday night, I was ready to pop my ear drums with a ski pole.

I've noticed that the only people who listen to Wolfmother are people are otherwise strictly into classic rock. Those people are horrible. Wolfmother is horrible.

Haha Avon, The Living End is probably not the best example you could have chosen for successful Australian exports given that their past 3 albums have blown major ass. The problem is you guys mostly only hear Australian acts who are big enough to get exposure in the American market, and almost all of those bands are of Wolfmother quality. We have plenty of great bands that you guys will probably never hear, check out the stuff i uploaded in the uploads thread, i'm sure there's something in there you'll enjoy.. But whilst we don't have the best strike rate, there will be a few good ones will make it big... The Saints, Crowded House (NZ but we'll claim them), Midnight Oil? They're all over everything down here Tawny . I can't escape. Cosmic Egg the worst album title since Decemberunderground? Y/N?

Sydney gave music the Hard-Ons and Radio Birdman.
Thumbs up, Australia.

That one Woman song was ok. They sound like they want to be from the 1970's, though. Like they're trying to be "The new classic rock" by being the same as the old classic rock.

Fucking hate the song "Woman". It was on the radio practically every time I turned it on. I think it's one of the reasons I stopped listening to radio. Now radio here plays that song by Kings of Leon too much. Let's not forget this great Australian band! *Tambourine* Go! So 1, 2, 3, take my hand and come with me, because you look so fine and I really wanna make you mine.

You know what finally got me to stop listening to Triple J? The fact that they were whoring the shit out of this album. Now I listen to my local community station which is aces and I have yet to hear a single Wolfmother song.
