I'm drunk and the thing I love to do most when i'm drunk is blast some Bayside. Think of it this way, the way you Cali kids feel about Broadway Calls is the way NY kids think about Bayside.
I posted all their full albums in the Uploads thread should you want to check them out.

As you work backwards the more awesome it gets. Go with The Walking Wounded next then the S/T.

I fucking love Bayside so much. They played in Toronto a few months ago but I couldn't make it.

woohoo! more Bayside lovers! I can't decide whether I like The Walking Wounded or Self-titled more. I'm sad that Anthony quit writing in his blog

yeah, I feel like I'm the only one that loves the Walking Wounded oh! I'm so pissed that they aren't coming to Minnesota with Broadway Calls and Bouncing Souls! that sounds like the greatest concert ever (not really, but still)

Man I love Sirens and Condolences, and even like Self Titled. I bought Walking Wounded and liked a few songs, but Shudder was dreadful.

Meh, i'm on the fence. Loving the lyrics I just wish the music wasn't so upbeat.
edit: damn after more listens I really wish it weren't so damn poppy. the lyrics are fantastic. it'd be so much more powerful.

I love the opening riff and the pre-chorus. I kind of agree with you though. the chorus seems like a bit much. it sounds a lot like Shudder. overall, I really like it, but if the rest of the album sounds like this I might be disappointed

I wasn't the biggest fan of Shudder so I guess that's why i'm kinda turned off by this. Except not really since i've been listening to it on repeat for almost an hour. My brain is still trying to decide whether i'm into the song or not. i agree with you on the chorus part except it fits at the end (to me).
I guess I just see the potential for another Sirens but it doesn't quite get there.

I haven't listened to the new album but seeing this thread made me want to put on The Walking Wounded for the first time in years. Been so long since I listened to this band.

Why did no one tell me this band is even better acoustic? I found their acoustic record sitting on my hard drive and this is great.

Ha, it's weird that no one likes Shudder, because that's my favorite.

New song is rad. Can't wait to see them in a couple weeks. Sirens and Condolences will always be my favorite.

www.facebook.com/Bayside?v=app_178091127385Another new song. I'm loving all the new stuff so far. This is one of the few bands I listened to all through high school that's consistently been awesome and never gets boring.

it's no Duality, but it destroys No One Understands. I'm loving it
and yeah, of all the bands I really liked before 10th grade, AFI, Say Anything, and Bayside are the only three I still like. AFI and Say Anything have been slipping for me, but Bayside is still going strong. WOOH BAYSIDE!
