I just grabbed 26 CDs (for 15 bucks!) at a secondhand CD store. I picked all of them by how interesting the names/cover art/lyrics were, and I've never heard of any of them before. I've done this before with half a dozen or so CDs and ended up liking all of them, so I figured it would be fun to try again with a larger amount.
Treephort: Enchanted forest Stalag: Conviction Waterdog White Light Motorcade: Thank you, goodnight! Simple Kid Supercreep System and Station: If you find me, let me know Step Kings: Let's get it on! Oh No! Oh My! The Realistics The State Secedes Squad Five: Late news breaking Stage Viva la Foxx: I knew it wasn't love but... SFT Three Fish: Laced The Sound of Urchin: The diamond Amsterdam Calling (compilation of Dutch rock bands) 38th Parallel: Turn the tides The Juliet Dagger: Turn up the death Superkollider: Atomic clock Surrogate: Love is for the rich Scott Thomas Band: California The Stryder: SKDJBVC;AWIHUVKAJSHDBV;AKUVAEIUW ALIDFUBHVADJHBV;iaksudbfv;iakusdjfhbvx;kubjas city twitch The Vibration: Amarilla The Slow Signal Fade: Steady
So... Is this going to be awesome, or horrific? Anybody own any of the artists/CDs I bought, if so what do you think of them? Do you guys do this, and how does it generally turn out?

Polyphonic Spree - The Beginning Stages (promo copy) Annuals and some other band's split. Summoning - Oath Bound (Black metal Lord of the Rings concept band) Savath and Savalas - La Llamas
for a dollar.

Summoning - Oath Bound (Black metal Lord of the Rings concept band) I love The Land of the Dead from that album. I don't care for the band, but that song is just.. whoa. If you're into atmospheric, ambient black/death metal, it is THE song.

I USED TO FUCKING LOVE TREEPHORT. I have no idea how that album is going to sound but they used to play local shows here all the time back when I was in highschool and they were batshit insane.

I've listened to about half of the CDs so far and Oh No! Oh My! was probably one of the best ones. At least in the top five so far. ooooooooo The Vibration and Viva La Foxx I listened to Viva La Foxx and really liked them. Awesome vocals! I USED TO FUCKING LOVE TREEPHORT. I have no idea how that album is going to sound but they used to play local shows here all the time back when I was in highschool and they were batshit insane. The CD was pretty good, a little weird. I picked it up because the review on the front says something about them making out, lighting their crotches on fire, and puking Yoo-Hoo at a show. So figured they'd be interesting at least.
