Has this been done?
Anyways, I just re-read The Great Gatsby for a class, and I liked it a lot more than I did the previous time I read it. My friend bought me a Boondocks collection, so I'm skimming that, and I'm attempting to re-read The Brothers Karamazov.
I just downloaded Bukowski Born Into This a few days ago, and it's entertaining.
I lost my copy of Timequake and am bummed out about it. And I'm almost done with Making A Killing: The Political Economy Of Animal Rights. It's interesting.
What have you been reading?

I vaguely remember a "what are you reading" thread. But I could just be mixing up my message boards.
I've been re-reading the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan for the third time. I'm just finishing up The Great Hunt and moving onto The Dragon Reborn tonight I think.

I have Underworld by Don Delillo, I'll start it soon. It's the thickest book I've ever attempted to read, I hope it's good.

I have Underworld by Don Delillo, I'll start it soon. It's the thickest book I've ever attempted to read, I hope it's good. Just to help with some context that might not transfer into Australian culture: the opening 50 pages or so is about a real-life baseball playoff game between the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants in 1951 in which the Giants won on a home run to end the game. The home run is known as "The Shot Heard Round the World" and it was one of the greatest moments in baseball history. Those 50 pages were a short story written by Delillo called "Pafko at the Wall," which I think is the best thing Delillo has ever written.

I've heard it had something to do with baseball but I didn't know how.

Reading The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon. I'm reading it for class in connection with White Noise. I think it's pretty good so far.
