I only have one album, but I love it. They are so much fun to listen to while driving.
I used part of "Not A Crime" as the soundtrack to a fight scene in a Star Wars play I wrote and performed my senior year in high school, partially because the play's villain spoke with a Russian accent and partially because it was the best possible song to use.
I was supposed to go see them in July, but ended up not having anybody to go with. Boo.

Claire's gonna end up in this thread at some point.
I've never seen them live, but I imagine they're a blast.

I saw them at their show in Connecticut back in August 08. it was great. I met Eugene Hutz and touched Pamela Racine. that night ruled.

East Infection EP is the best one (aside from the Mano Negra cover)! All of their albums are fun though. Good band.

One day, this band may write an album that isn't 60% filler and it'll be the most awesome album of all time. Until then, they will have great songs and poor albums...
They are real fun live. Especially when you're really drunk.

Sometimes I forget how much I love Gogol Bordello for like a minute and then when I remember it's like the best thing ever.
Just bought tickets to see them on the 13th! This'll be the fourth time, although I admittedly don't even remember the first time (too drunk, whoops). Unfff.
When they came through Eugene last year, Matt and I drank like a bottle of vodka each, had a sweaty blast at the show, came home and had sex and then he threw up all of my bath mat. Awww.

I only heard one of their albums. Totally unimpressed, but maybe it just wasn't their strongest showing.
In any case, Mischief Brew/Guignol is gonna make the rest of this sort of music obsolete.

guignol has played like 5 times in the past 4 years or so
mischief brew is folk music
what are you talking about?
I know that the bands have played songs together, but what you're implying is absolutely ridiculous
do you know anything about the gypsy music scene in new york or are you just talking out of your ass

They have a full length collaboration coming out in October. And Mischief Brew has gypsy leanings to begin with.
Settle the fuck down spanky. Christ.
In addition, I was speaking in hyperbole, which NEVER HAPPENS ON THIS BOARD.

...and then he threw up all of my bath mat. Awww. This is a fantastic typo, unless he actually did ingest your bath mat prior to hurling. And also, I am quite fond of this band.

When they came through Eugene last year, Matt and I drank like a bottle of vodka each, I had to read this like 5 times to figure out what was being said. I thought while I was writing that that it might be confusing...because I live in Eugene. And...yeah. ...and then he threw up all of my bath mat. Awww. This is a fantastic typo, unless he actually did ingest your bath mat prior to hurling. hhaha whoops.
