Season premiere was tonight. I had completely forgotten the back story so it took me a while to figure out what was happing. It was still awesome, though and I'm stoked for the new season. Hodge gets fucked up more than Fifty.

OHHH MY GOD WHOEVER HASN'T SEEN THIS NEEDS TO RIGHT NOW.
I love that they kept Reid sitting down for most of the episode and a couple of times he nearly got up but didn't. And nice cover-up for the crutches.
And I totally thought Foyet was going to rape Hotch but it would be weird for the two males leads to both have a rape history. And on that note, Morgan needs some more episodes. One shitty episode about being molested by a community leader is not enough.
ALSO, what possible position could Reid have been in for his leap for the bullet to coincide with his leg?

ALSO, what possible position could Reid have been in for his leap for the bullet to coincide with his leg? Shitty aim? And what an amazing episode. I was happy to see that Hotch was going to be okay. I feel so bad for his family, though. That scene with his son was really sad. Did anyone see in the previews for the next episode that it looks like Hotch will already be out of the hospital? That seems odd given how seriously he was hurt (unless they're going to have a lot of time pass).

I think they will do the time pass thing. They tend to do that on CM, like season 3/4, with the car blowing up.

But if Reid is still on crutches, it'll just be really odd.

I finally saw it! So glad Hotch is okay, but man, that whole thing with his son was so heartbreaking. And Jack is so adorable.
Also, Foyet still being out there is going to make for some AWESOME episodes in the future. I love running storylines with sadistic serial killers.

I was almost crying in the scene with his son.

This Hotch thing is going to piss me off. Ooh is he doing his job ooh he's so distracted we need to trust him. Way to steal Gideon's storyline from the first season. Also, when Prentiss and Hotch came home at the end of the episode did you think they were going to have sex? That's a storyline I would like to see.
Reid needs to sort his hair out.

I did cry with the scene with Jack. Father/son shit gets to me and that pushed me over the edge. So sad.
Also, I'd be pumped if Prentiss and Hotch did it. Drama!

I HEARD that there will be a possible romance this season. I'm pushing Prentiss/Hotch. Prentotch. Hotchtiss. They've always had a weird thing. EXCEPT! Didn't they first meet when she was really young?

I always thought Prentiss and Hotch were going to bone eventually. Especially after Haley left Hotch.

This needs to make it's way to Australian tv asap! We've been on repeats for a while now which I watch even though I have the dvds. Whatever, I've become addicted to this show.

I'd hit that fierce motherfucker. Mmm.
Also, I only got into this show about three weeks ago, and now I have finally caught up! The only negative side effect of watching this marathon-style is that my dreams are now full of serial killers.
I <3 Garcia.

Fucking Hotch. This storyline is pissing me off and it's going to go on for aaaages. And he's all sad about Hailey and Jack being gone but she divorced him because he was never around and the only contact he gets with his son is calling him and waking him up to talk to him every time there's a sad case. You don't fucking deserve them dickhead.

So... are Garcia and Morgan the ones with the ROMANTIC STORYLINE? What happened to Xander? He gave up a job in Karachi for her!

Loved the ending of last nights episode. I also read somewhere that Garcia's guy, JJ's boyfriend or what ever he is, and the baby are coming back for a episode. I hope it's true.

You know what I don't even care that I'm the only one keeping this thread alive. I have feelings that I need to express.
Morgan as chief: love it. I got so pissed off at the beginning of season 4 when he was offered head of NY and didn't take it because he loves the team or whatever. Ok bro but this is your career we're talking about. Take the fucking job. Exactly the same as when Tony got offered his own team but he was too in love with Gibbs to take it. And then Jenny died. That was weird.
I loved that Morgan got on Hotch's case for going in without backup and they both had each other's reaction. And that bitch Chief Strauss is back. Do you think they're trying to reincorporate that storyling from the beginning of season 3 that was fucked up when Gideon left? Also, have you guys seen that Mandy Patinkin has been like 'oh I love those guys at CM no hard feelings' and all the crew were like '...um. You fucked us over. We do not love you back.'
And also, I'm going to say it. I'm over Reid. That goes for the Gube too. I know I'm very fickle and am in love with someone for two weeks and then never want to see them again but man. I am over Reid. It's compounded by the fact that he had approx one line in this week's episode. If he gets a love interest I will be back in but for now I am out of love.

I totally expected Hotch to kill that guy, but I was not expecting him to lose his shit and beat the fuck out of him. And I agree, the stuff with Jack working the case was really sad.

Fuck A & E. They seem to have replaced their increasingly tedious CSI: Miami marathons that run 25 hours a day (there, for serious, is a under utilized method of torture--fucking Big Red, and his sunglasses, arrrghhh) with Criminal Minds. And I watch waaaaaaaay too much of it now. I used to think it was the dumbest most formulaic thing on TV after ER, what with Shemar 'Soap Opera actor Xtreme' Moore overacting his way all over the place, tedious voice over quotes while everyone is pensive on the private plane home, and Mandy Patinkin obviously fighting the urge to tapdance or burst into song or whatever. And now ALL I is do is watch re-runs, and I like them waaay to much, and they're all out of sequence, and I can't tell what happens in relation to anything else, except by presence of Joe Mantegna and the changes in Reid's hairstyle.
