it's just so much more than an animated comedy. it's like an entire universe of subcultural criticism and thought made by people who are actually part of that scene. the world they live in is one where rock musicians are evil geniuses that hobnob with actual super-villains. it's a really strange concept, yeah. but it makes for some of the best TV I've ever seen.

It's weird having a show I can watch that never leaves me disappointed. Every episode is great. Some more so than others, but even the 'less' great episodes are awesome. It's nice.

Word. I don't think there's a single episode I straight-up don't like. Like Nick said, this satirical world of heroes and villains they've created is jaw-dropping, and so well crafted. A universe where there's support groups for henchmen and gated communities for supervillians is just pure genius.

Did I just kill Premature Ejaculation? So is that what the pills he takes is actually for? I don't know if I missed the actual discovery of what they are in a past episode but I know people always call them diet pills. Hilarious episode. When Hatred was talking about going to Thailand for a brown girl boy, I felt scandalized.

I can't imagine how he would even know he had premature ejaculation. he hasn't had sex in almost 20 years.

I don't know!

I need an animated .gif of The Monarch doing the jerk-off motion as he says "pounding his invisible meat" from The Trial of The Monarch.

Yeah, fucking Cartoon Network was all screwed up or something. The show started like 10 minutes late, so it didn't record all of it. Ugh. Anyways, it was really good. One of the better episodes of the season, IMO.
"Can I pet your pussy?" "There's...no irony in that, is there?"
"Is it illegal to look good?" "Yeah, in this house it kinda is!
I thought it was cool that they finally advanced Triana's character a bit. And we got finally got to see Orpheus' wife (sorta)!

Orpheus' master always cracks me up. "I'm gonna go jump rope naked in front of a mirror." And next week's looks fucking awesome. Showdown between Brock and #21!
Is that stuff they were showing in the "infomercials" real? Because I really want a Dr. Killinger tie.

that episode almost made me cry. The foreskin jokes, right? Really though, I wish something good would happen to Dean for once. I know that wouldn't be funny, but still.
