I'm currently playing FF7: Crisis Core again on my PSP since I am a geek like that. I'm thinking about getting Dissidia:FF, but I'm going to wait a bit since I don't have 40 bucks to spend on that at the mo.

Been playing through Mirror's Edge, getting a bit annoyed with how un-finished the game feels.

I would like to talk to Andre about Full Throttle, as suggested in his profile. What a game. I just noticed this. As you would probably guess I'm an adventure game nerd, and as so, I want you all to look beyond the graphics of these (as bad as they'd be from the games of nowadays, they're pretty in par with the graphics you'd get on the golden age of the adventure games), and play these games, which I can only describe as the Silent Hill turned adventure game: the first 2 and the last are Lucas Arts-like, and the 3rd one is more old school Sierra, where you have to write the actions. But the story is so good it's worth it. We downloaded Mario Kart 64 for the Wii and have had some super fun times with the babies kicking their asses on Rainbow Road. Motherfuck Rainbow Road, seriously. I always just give up and drive backwards/off the side.

Haha, it's funny. Whevever it's our turn to pick the track, the first words out of Tristan's mouth are NOT RAINBOW ROAD. ANYTHING BUT RAINBOW ROAD.
D, I heard that Dissidia, while pretty, is a huge steaming pile of crap. That made me sad because there's a lot of potential there.

I mostly play CoD4. But I just got Batman (which is awesome) and Guitar Hero 5.
Top favourite games are Resident Evil 1 and 4, Panzer Dragoon 2 and Sonic 2.

I'm play Dissidia now and it's fun. I wish they'd just make a fighting game with popular characters that has a normal control scheme, though. What's wrong with punch and kick buttons? Then again, I don't have a very sophisticated taste in gameplay. I'm easily amused. What annoys me about Dissidia is how fuckin' impossible it is to keep DP points. No fun!

Same. FFVII will always be my favorite Tara has a thing for sissy-marys who have premature silver hair, one wing, a serious Oedipus complex and a sword that clearly is meant to compensate for their lack of impressive genitalia. edit: I'm thinking about getting Dissidia:FF, but I'm going to wait a bit since I don't have 40 bucks to spend on that at the mo. Yeah...don't bother. I hear it's shit.

My brother broke his leg over the Summer and he got Mario Kart for Wii as a present. He's eight and he can kick all of our asses at any track in it, haha.
Rainbow road is fun, but mostly just because it's hilarious watching the people you're playing with get so pissed off.
I want to play Prototype so bad! It looks fucking awesome.
I've also been playing through Ocarina of Time with my brother this summer. I had forgotten how goddamn great it is. I'm going through that master quest version and I giggled every time I saw a cow on the wall on that "Inside Jabu Jabu's Belly" level.

Seriously, every time I try I get fucked up, and none of my friends who have beat the game can do it. I've never beat the game because of that damn mini boss.

I want to play Prototype so bad! It looks fucking awesome. It IS fucking awesome. It's fun sometimes to just roam around and not pay attention to the missions at all. I want to get Infamous, too.I hear it's kind of the same style of game, but it's supposed to be better. What's the game that's coming out that is about the 4 horsemen and the apocalypse, and you play as one of the horsemen, but you've lost your powers? Something like that.I think.Anyone know?

I got infamous and prototype for free from work, they okay but i don't really get the hype, then again I'm not a terribly big fan of sandbox games... I guess infamous was the better of the two, though prototype could be a hell of a lot of fun at times.

At one point over the summer I made a pie chart that explained how much of my day was spent on what. I think Mario Kart Wii took up like 20% of it, and it was actually probably pretty accurate. I played that game SO much. I remember skyping with a few people while playing online once and I had to keep apologizing because I was just screaming at the tv most of the time.
But school has started and I swapped the Wii with my brother for the SNES for a while so my focus has changed. I've already beaten Super Mario World and Super Mario Brothers 3 (on Super Mario Allstars), and am currently working on Donkey Kong Country.
