Great show, even though they were only on for less than an hour. Played most of what i wanted to hear, No control, sorrow and american jesus were highlights. Was in a pretty shitty mood though considering the amount of douchebag bros at the show and given how bad NOFX were, I don't know how they got worse than the last two times i've seen them but they managed.. Urgh.

well this thread died quickly. new song from the new album: www.thebrpage.net/news/?newsID=1846I think I'll need a few more listens before I know how I feel about it, but I definitely don't think it's going to be a favorite

I like it. It reminds me of the good songs on New America.

Not bad, not great. I like it more than almost everything from New Maps.

good band. nowhere near my favorite.
in total agreement with the original post. Process of Belief is my favorite. And I had been listening to them for a while before that came out.
My friend recorded an electronic cover version of Man With a Mission. It kinda rules. will post later

It's a little dull but I like some of the melodies a lot.

The Avon Hate Train is right on time. Although this record will probably be no better than NMOH, I gotta keep the faith.

Dude, I was listening to NMOH the other day. That record is so awful.
I'm keeping the faith on this album as a whole, but I just don't like this song.

I'm glad Won't Somebody is going to be on the album, even though I don't think I'll like it as much as the acoustic. I think Chronophobia could have made an interesting electric version

I don't really like it or dislike it. It's kind of dull and if it wasn't BR I wouldn't really pay any attention to it.

While Devil isn't really my cup of tea, I gotta say I'm excited that Brett is nervous about how the album will be received because he claims to be trying new things. He also said he hasn't been pushed this far as far as songwriting goes since R4H.

I just got No Substance and...I like Raise Your Voice. I hate filler lyrics and that last chorus drags, but it's so damn catchy. I really don't like Mediocre Minds though I like this album. I understand why it gets a lot of love from some people, but I definitely understand the hate too. the title track rocks

Haha "Raise Your Voice" and "Mediocre Minds" are two of the absolutely worst BR songs ever. And "Hippie Killers" too.
But "Hear It," "Strange Denial," "Voracious March of Godliness" and "In So Many Ways" are soooooo good. "Same Person" and "No Substance" are pretty good too. Oh and so is "Shades of Truth"

Agreed there.
They posted a new song on their Myspace. It's pretty rad. Not amazing, but rad.

this song has been stuck in my head all day and I can't stop listening to it. I love the intro, and it sounds a lot better than the live version. both of the new songs seem to be pretty much what I would expect them to release, but I still feel like this album is going to offer up something new.

Is Anesthesia anyone else's favorite BR song? I just love it, don't really know why.
