In the Mountain, In the Cloud has surpassed Fucked Up as my favorite album of the year. Let's talk about how good these guys are.

Love these dudes, new album is excellent. Really happy I got to see them here before the album came out, got to meet John Gourley, he's so nice, holy crap.
Also stoked that they offered free downloads of every set on the tour.
I think The Satanic Satanist is my favorite album.

Wait, they offer free downloads of all their sets? Where?
Also, just listened to American Ghetto. Half solid and then half wha? Probably my least favorite release.

They were giving out download cards after each show, the link was portugaltheman.com/live but that doesn't seem to work anymore

I absolutely HATED "American Ghetto." It was so amazingly sub-par compared to the rest of their catalog. Haven't given the new album a try yet, but I'm liking that people seem to be enjoying it.

ITMITC is a complete 180 from American Ghetto. While American Ghetto was pretty dark and kinda hip hop influenced, this one is definitely more psychedelic, upbeat and kinda sounds like some late era Beatles. I'd definitely give it a spin.
