Never seen any Girl Talk discussions around the boards before but surely some of you kids must be all over this?
Discovered this dude last semester after watching "Rip: a remix manifesto" for a paper on the emerging sampling and remix culture in the creative and visual arts... completely not what i normally listen to, but fuck it, this shit is fun.
I only have Feed the Animals and Night Ripper, but both are fantastic.
Discuss how much fun this dude is to dance to/ the implications of his music on copyright law or the future of the music industry/ or how fucking awesome anyone is who can mash Nirvana's Lithium into Salt n Pepa's Push It.

I saw him live, it was fun as hell.
I got bored of the records very very fast.

It's a cool idea, but also gimicky as hell. I could never see myself listening to the guy more than once, which I haven't.

Lip Gloss and One at the same time is probably his coolest idea.

I really really like Feed The Animals. Night Ripper didn't grab me as much, but FTA produced some catchy-as-fuck songs. Set It Off rules.
