In the vein of Rival Schools, Renee Heartfelt or Memorial. Newer stuff preferred, as there'll be less chances of me knowing the band. I'll be forever thankfull.

Bear vs. Shark's Terrorhawk is my favorite post-hardcore album. Do with that statement what you will.

Make Do and Mend: makedoandmend.bandcamp.com for Bodies of Water EP/ mdam.bandcamp.com/ for their new full length, one of my favorite bands to come out in the last few years, very reminiscent of HWM. Native: native.bandcamp.com/, solid dudes from Indiana, guitars get a bit twinkly at times(my weakness), great stuff. edit: Sargent House is giving their EP away here.I'm not sure I exactly followed similar bands, but these were the two that immediately came to mind. and if you want me to upload anything, I'll gladly do so. also, just checked out Memorial, fuck they're good. No idea how I missed them since they're on Run For Cover. so thanks for that!

Frodus - And We Washed Our Weapons in the Sea.
Not super traditionally post-hardcore, but I consider it as such. Amazing, amazing album.

You dropped the name Rival Schools. Hopefully you also listen to Quicksand. If not, Please start.
Now I want to listen to Memorial. Fuxk

I'm yet to check Frodus. Native sounded cool but it'll take me a while to get used to the guy's voice. Cinemechanica is cool, but not really what I was looking for.
Quicksand is amazing. Anything Walter is good. Also, if anyone is interested, my search found Fireside,a band from Sweden which is really good.

Walter is one of my favorite people in music.
Gonna see Rival schools in March in Philly.
Gonna rule. Been great every time I saw 'em.
Which was twice. Once in November '08, the other March '10.
Never got too into Renne Heartfelt, But I feel I should give them another go.
Also...listen to the band FAR. Tin Cans With Strings to You, Water and Solutions both are great albums. They put out a new one last year but I have yet to hear it.
