I just caught his special on some late night Comedy Central bit and he's quickly becoming a favorite. He ranges with his style, but really enjoys word-smithing and musical numbers, and tends to tackle religious and politic issues at large. Really liking his stuff.

My brothers have been obsessed with this kid for years. They never stop quoting him or singing parts of his songs and it's the most annoying thing that's ever happened to me, I think.

ha, I've known about him for a few years too (watch his old youtube videos!!). I still say some of his lines from time to time but husband doesn't know what I'm talking about.
He's from Boston and so plays some shows there but 4.5 hours is a long way to drive in the winter.

I saw him on campus a year or two ago with my super obsessed friend. I don't know which was more irritating to sit through, him trying to walk the line between being funny and offensive (I'm really tired of upper middle class white men between the ages of 16 and 30 doing this) or my friend sitting next to me and quietly reciting all the lyrics while making weird hand gestures in front of her chest. I think about 80% of the reason she finds him so funny is that she wants to fuck his brains out.

Perhaps all the upper middle class white male comedians between the ages of 16 and 30 should hold a meeting to discuss the issue. I'm more enamored with his diction and poetic content than his shock humor, anyways.

Haha, I guess I wasn't thinking of comedians per se (although there are plenty that fit in that demographic, for sure), but more like, every white guy I've known from high school and college. You're not all going to be hosting Tosh.0 knock off-shows when you're out of school, you can turn it off now guys.
