Finally bought a Wii U! That big ol' controller rules so much. I got the deluxe one (I don't know if there's even another option anymore but anyway) so I have New Super Mario Bros. U / Super Luigi U and am playing the latter because I am predictable. I also bought Dr. Luigi because my entire family LOVES Dr. Mario so I've been dying to try it ever since I discovered it existed. Which, according to this thread, was February 4 hahahah. I'm visiting my family this weekend and I've already been asked by a couple of them if I'm bringing the Wii U with me hahaha. So excited!

So much fun! So stoked that you have one! BOO XBONE! WUU WII U! You've gotta get Super Mario 3D World now. If you think NSMBU is fun, then just wait until SM3DW! Next level craziness if you do multiplayer.

Ever since my rating broke 3000 I have been getting placed in rooms with racers WAY above me, most of them usually in the 4500 - 4900 range. It's awesome because even if I get like eighth place my ranking will go up and anything below that doesn't cost me much, like three to nine points, and if I do well I get a toooon of points. Today one of the times I got second got me 27 points, which I didn't even know was possible. Up until today the highest I'd ever gotten was 25.
But hoooooooly shit is my win / lose ratio taking a pounding, I am not proud of that number at all.

Oh my god I am so dumb.. I saw 200cc and I was like "wtf is the point of that?" because I somehow thought 200 was between 100 and 150? I'm so jetlagged I can barely function hahahah. So yeah gonna go home and check out 200cc! I wanted to learn the new courses a little better before racing online but I cannot wait to try Baby Park against actual racers so I'll probably get online tonight.
I like the rest of the courses too, but I have seriously been hoping for a Baby Park remake since MK Wii came out so I can't believe it's actually happened. Very happy with Nintendo.
I'm not sure what my plans are tonight, but if I'm on, we should race! I think my NNID is AlmostGhostless, but I really haven't figured out how to add friends or anything with the Wii U haha. I've only raced online a couple times so far.
Got yours and Aaron's requests! I'm not sure when I'll be on next week, but i'll shoot you an invite if I see you on! I tried out some 200cc stuff offline and holy crap, this is gonna take some adjustments. I'm overshooting every turn and god forbid i try using a drift boost haha.

I love all of the courses, even more than the first pack's, but I'm so close to switching to only original courses online for a while. I'm just getting the same new ones over and over! I did maybe fifteen races tonight, maybe not even that, but I know I did Wild Woods, Ribbon Road, and Neo Bowser City twice each. Most of the time the options were overwhelmingly new courses, but even when the old ones were on there people were picking the same new ones over and over. So frustrating, though it is a good way to get good at unfamiliar courses quickly. I'm killin those turns on Neo Bowser City now.

Hated Neo Bowser City then and hate it more now (especially with 200cc). Digging that Ribbon Road and Wild Woods courses though. The Animal Crossing course is alright. I hope these F-Zero courses and new speed class are hints at a possible new F-Zero or maybe they're following the reactions to see if people would truly be interested in a new F-Zero.
