Yeah, they didn't play Don't Rush but they did play Hop A Plane, so all is well There was almost a fight right in front of us as they started playing, so that was entertaining. The openers weren't bad either. I liked Holly Miranda; Steel Train, not so much, ha.

Show tonight was pretty good. I liked both of the openers, and the setlist was great. I wish I could remember what all they played, but I can't, and I asked everyone I could for a setlist and everyone said "Uhh, that's not my job."
Although, I'm kind of disappointed. Both of them seemed to be just kind of...worn out and not really into playing tonight.

Oh my god the sainthood home recordings. The Ocean has been my least favorite from that album since it came out but the demo is so so so good.

Interviewer: So Tegan, thanks for joining us on the Hit It or Quit it podcast. Tegan: Oh thank you for having me. Interviewer: I’ve never really thought of you guys as much of dancers. Tegan: No? Interviewer: No. Can you tell us…can you tell us about that? Of making that video? Tegan: Really? Your opening question is about dancing? I mean we have a new record out and obviously we’ve made a video to support it but, like, no. Sorry. Done. Interviewer: No, I mean the choreography, it just looks really complex. Interviewer 2: Like, Okay Go, but…no…I think she hung up on us. Interviewer: Hello? Interviewer 2: Hello?
Seriously, Tegan? I thought you were cool.

I think that was that radio show where everyone makes up an excuse to get off the phone or acts like they're mad. Ted Leo and screaming females were on it too.

Seems like it'll be a fun experience. They've always been good at breaking down their thoughts and emotions in incredibly palpable ways. I love their interviews/auto-biographies/documentaries more than those of most people.

That reaction seems fair, though. Why talk about the dancing? It's like trivial information. If she was about dancing, she would have been a dancer. I guess you could say it was rude, but maybe she was offended that they wanted to talk about her dancing instead of her music.

I dunno, I have a hard time believing that was serious. They probably did a bunch of interviews about the new album where they repeated a lot of the same shit. I feel like one would get sick of saying the same stuff over and over for different interviews. I'm going with Casey's explanation.
And wait, so because she's not a professional dancer, it can't possibly be something she'd want to talk about? It can't be a second love? To be fair, the interviewer asked to discuss the making of the video.
Get Along looks good!

Does anyone know where their cover of "When You Were Mine" is from? That is to say: is it on a legitimate release, a demo, or just a single release from their wobsite, et al.? I'd like to acquire this.

I'd like to acquire this. Songs For Christoff, it's a fan-made collection of carious songs from bootlegs, demos and compilations, i believe. check the spoiler for a link

Thanks for the effort, but the rar is password-protected! That's all right, I can find another copy of it. I came across that compilation in my own searching; but what I was curious about was how the song got into the hands of the fans in the first place.

I miss listening to Tegan and Sara sooooo much, but I'm afraid that spinning one of their albums will make me attracted to one of my horrible, horrible ex-girlfriends again :/
