Whenever I watch anything Kevin Smith related I think of you and Leah because they always talk about Middleton and North.

Some good picks in this thread. I'd personally have to say either Fargo or Goodfellas for my favorite ever. Or every Stanley Kubrick flick from Paths of Glory on. I worship that man.

I have never seen Labyrinth. I think this makes me an inferior human being. also, Kill Bill Vol II, Pretty Woman, and Reservoir Dogs. I guess I like female objectification and blood.

Whaaaat? That's the worst Anderson movie besides Bottle Rocket. No freaking way. That is my favorite. All of them are great. Bottle Rocket is okay. THANK YOU. I feel like I'm the only Wes Anderson fan not totally enamored with Bottle Rocket. It's an OK movie, but Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums and Life Aquatic trump it.

a subtly complex 3-hour movie that never loses the viewer's attention with two great characters, a great evil guy and a fantastic plot beautifully wrapped in historical context. fuck yo tables, mofucka

I don't really have a "favorite movie". I have a list of movies that I keep on stand by at all times because I love them, but, yeah, there are at least 7 or so.

Whaaaat? That's the worst Anderson movie besides Bottle Rocket. You're mental. What about Life Aquatic makes it better than his other films? It's not funnier than his other movies, the characters are lame except for Bill Murray's, and nothing punches you in the gut emotionally like Darjeeling Limited, or the suicide scene in Royal Tenenbaums. Don't get me wrong, I do like the movie a lot, I just don't get how someone could think thats his best film.

Willem Dafoe is on top of his game. so is Owen Wilson. so is Cate Blanchett. it's such a delightfully ludicrous film. if you don't like it, you must not like fun. why would you not like fun? oh, and it has his best soundtrack.

Fight Club and Party Monster are both fun to watch with groups of people. I've seen Party Monster probably over 30 times. Yep...
