Sigur Ros - I'd say either Agaetis Byrjun or Takk... Explosions in the Sky - Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever Agreed, but get All of a Sudden I miss Everyone before Those Who Tell the Truth, I think.

Should I get into Built to Spill? I found out they're coming here in November and I've heard good things.

How I Loved You is good. For me, Angels of Light took a while to click after being a Swans fan, but somehow it did in the middle of listening to "Praise Your Name" (from New Mother). All the albums are great but I think How I Loved You has a good few standout songs.

I like everything I've heard from Angels of Light, I just had no idea where to start. I'll find that one, thank you!

I would say Feels because that's the first cd I listened to, and liked it a lot. It's still one of my favorites.

Feels if you like more organic psychedelia, Merriweather Post Pavilion if you like trippy electronic loops, Strawberry Jam if you like both.

It's hard for me to pick between Feels and Sung Tongs. I feel like those albums are better to start with than Strawberry Jam or MPP just so you build into liking them, haha.

Holy Mountain. Dopesmoker (/Jerusalem) is amazing but it's just one really fucking long piece. It's more of a journey than a song. Whereas Holy Mountain is an album full of the heaviest psychedelic riffery ever.

Wish this board had a headbanging emoticon cause that's how I feel after listening to that. I checked out Holy Mountain too and I really like it. Dopesmoker sounds interesting.

Which Arcade Fire album will give me a better impression of them and get me into them?

Funeral, but they only have two albums. You'll want to get Neon Bible after, but Funeral is the better album.
And for Animal Collective, start with MPP and work your way back.

Definitely Funeral. No doubt about it.

Get both The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw and City of Echoes. Give Isis' Panopticon a listen to but the vocals might turn you off.

Yeah, Aaron Turner's singing voice is balls but that album is so good.
