Dude, I've had that for like 3 weeks. Haven't listened to it yet though. Sadly the only metal I've listened to recently is some Rammstein. I know, I know, I'm so fvcking kvlt it hvrts.

I've been bumping some serious fucking Manowar. Why have I not heard these guys earlier? I am seriously in love with them.

Not into too much metal, but I do like Electric Wizard a lot.

I've been meaning to listen to the new Behemoth more but I've been in the mood for more melodic stuff when it comes to metal as of late.

Our old roommate was a big power metal fan, loved Manowar etc. and while I do enjoy that shit sometimes, I instantly associate it with him, and that lessens my ability to enjoy it.

I don't know what it is, man. I bought the album in my avatar, and fucking LOOVVVEEDDDD IT. Now Manowar is pretty much all of I've been listening to for the past few days. I know they always called themselves "True Metal!" but damn if it isn't the truth. Its just soo powerful and ballsy.

Skeletonwitch, Trap Them and Toxic Holocaust are playing in Baltimore in November buuuuuuuttttttt The Black Dahlia Murder is headlining unfortunately. Oh well, I'd say it's worth to see those three bands for only $14.

Corey, fucking Breaking Benjamin could be headlining and it would be worth it. All three of those bands rule live. Especially Trap Them.

It's also on a Monday night, which could make getting a ride there difficult. That and I'm now 2 1/2 hours away from Baltimore instead of 30 minutes.

I saw Skeletonwitch at this small little bar. There was less than 50 people there and the stage was pretty much the corner of a room. They performed like they were on a stage and everything. It was pretty damn awesome.

Breaking news: Boris is awesome.
I got their first Heavy Rock 7" today. Both songs are really cool and unusual. This band just never stops finding new ways to rule the earth.
I'm listening to the Boris/Torche split right now.
This is the first time Torche has impressed me. The industrial/tribal sound is way cooler than the last sound I heard from them.
Awaiting Boris track.

I love Torche live. They rocked my socks off both times I saw them.

Listening to a live (recorded) Melvins concert. They do a 10 minute long version of "Boris" at the end of their set.
It isn't the same listening to it through headphones as it is seeing it live. I saw them play this version of it, and was kind of stoned, and I got freaked out, cause it created this atmosphere around the venue.
Fucking nuts.

God, the new Boris track, "8," is beautiful. The other track "Hey Everyone" is good too.
I'm kind of pissed off at how tons of people are starting to write off Boris as a hipster band because Pitchfork briefly hopped on their bandwagon and they haven't released any drone tracks since 2007.
This band is probably one of the three best in the world.

I don't know why anyone would complain about the lack of drone tracks, is anyone actually saying "Dude, Absolutego is my favorite album EVER"?

My favorite stuff by Boris, though, is Flood and The Thing Which Solomon Overlooked Vol. 2 and 3. The latter two releases are drone for the most part.
