I second You've Got So Far To Go and most T&S stuff.
That Death Cab song, too.

Murder By Death; "Fuego!" Perfect creepy mix cd song for someone you're mega crushin' on. Right to the point. For crushes: Tegan and Sara - And Darling/Love Type Thing Cat Power - Sea Of Love Beatles - Baby, It's You Daft Punk - Something About Us Elliott Smith - Happiness/Big Decision Black Box Recorder - Sex Life MJ - PYT For being intensely depressed about crushes: Elliott Smith - Everything Reminds Me Of Her (ugh)/Happiness (UGH)/Pitseleh/Oh Well, Okay The Format - everything, but specifically Oceans, She Doesn't Get It, and Time Bomb Elvis Costello - You Tripped At Every Step Alela Diane - Pieces of String Broadway Calls - Classless Reunion Belle and Sebatsian - Don't Leave The Light On, Baby Hot Water Music - Trusty Chords Jawberaker - all of Dear You, clearly Lemuria - In A World Of Ghosts/Who Would Understand A Turtle? Pretty Things - I See You Lucksmiths - From Macaulay Station Yeah, I'll stop there.

The second video has one of the sexiest bass lines ever. Edit: I'm a dummy and they're not showing up. The songs are "Slow Dance" by Explosions in the Sky and "Love Love Love (Love Love)" by As Tall as Lions. You should listen to those.

Elliott Smith - Everything Reminds Me Of Her Oh man. Sometimes I would listen to the song and just stare off into space because I didn't even need to think or anything, it just fit so perfectly.

Aw man, that Bright Eyes video always puts the biggest grin on my face.
I would contribute but you seem to be looking for crush songs, and my library of love songs are all like super serious, deep songs. Heh.

I made a great "I <3 you" mix for my exgirlfriend last christmas. Now I'm sad I wasted it on her.
The Mixed Tape - Jacks Mannequin My Best Friend - Weezer Here Comes the Sun - Beatles I Want to Hold Your Hand - T.V. Carpio When I Get Up - Tegan and Sara Passenger Seat - Death Cab for Cutie Just Like Heaven - The Cure 1979 - Smashing Pumpkins Strawberry - Paul Baribeau There Is A Light That Never Goes Out - The Smiths By Starlight - Smashing Pumpkins First Day of My Life - Bright Eyes I Will - The Beatles Luckiest - Ben Folds And Darling (This Thing that Breaks My Heart) - Tegan and Sara Find a Way - The Used Island in the Sun - Weezer I'm Yours - Jason Mraz Farewell and Goodnight - Smashing Pumpkins
A lot of them had personal meaning in the relationship and aren't necessarily love songs, but my god, that CD.

I Want to Hold Your Hand - T.V. Carpio When I mentioned The Beatles, what I really meant was this. It was personal for me, too.

I haven't heard it, how would one go about acquiring it?
I don't think i've made a mix for anyone without T&S on it.

It's in the folder I made of T&S live stuff, but if you don't want to download the whole thing I think I have just the song uploaded somewhere. EDIT: Here we go, www.mediafire.com/?w2m0bdzjahgThere are a shit ton of other versions floating around and I've heard a LOT of them, this is by far my favorite.

I FORGOT A REALLY IMPORTANT ONE. The Elton John version is the only way to go with this one. COME ON MEREDITH. I would MUCH rather be serenaded by a beautiful Scotsman than Elton John. THE MOULIN ROUGE ONE STANDS.

Gotta agree with Meredith on this one. I really, really like the arrangement of the Moulin Rouge version.
HOKAY, Following Blackbird's lead, here's the playlist that JD made for me for our first anniversary last year that made me cry like a baby.
Sunday--Bloc Party Read My Mind--The Killers Strawberry Swing--Coldplay Please--Ludo There Is A Light That Never Goes Out--The Smiths The First Day of My Life--Bright Eyes Northern Sky--Nick Drake Forever--Ben Harper Darkness Rising--The Matches The Luckiest--Ben Folds
My happy songs would be Plainsong, Just Like Heaven, and Pictures of You by the Cure; Hands Down by Dashboard Confessional, ummm...there's way more but I have to go to lunch so I'll post more when I get back.
AND ADDING. In My Life by the Beatles, Learning How To Smile by Everclear, Wester by AFI (haha, silly, I know), Anywhere and Before the Dawn by Evanescence (SHUT IT); Thirty Three, Stand Inside Your Love and Ava Adore by Smashing Pumpkins; Wish You Were Here and Stellar by Incubus; 23, For Me This Is Heaven, and Polaris by Jimmy Eat World...and of course, the most cliched but awesome of all...Konstantine by Something Corporate.
Ima shut up now. I have already revealed WAY too much of my sappy nature in this post.
