www.myspace.com/rumpunchrockThe guitars are nothing special, really, and they're currently out of tune a bit because of a really faulty Floyd Rose tremolo, but honestly, I'm pretty proud of the quality of these practice space demos.

Jack, Dance Therapy's pretty cool! I would love to hear a studio version of it.
Also, this may sound weird, but the guitar tone totally reminds me of Against Me! circa Reinventing Axl Rose.

The likeness to Against Me! comment is really hilarious, because I love(d) them and I introduced them to our guitarist and he didn't really like them at all, hahaha.
Thanks, all! We are hoping to rerecord these ourselves once we get all 15 demos done (there's about 4 more in progress that will be mixed soon),and if we have a new guitar, it will sound excellent. Then we'll get them mixed and mastered by a pro. I'm pretty excited to have helped to make something good in my life.

James and Jack: Both of you guys are great vocalists. Thumbs up to both bands. Stephie: Loving it. "Colors" is so fucking good.

Mods, you should change this thread title to reflect that it's for everyone, hahaha. Jarmes, I really do like your stuff. It's not usually my speed but definitely good.

www.myspace.com/rainingelephantsNot a band, just some instrumental songs I've written and recorded. The last song was added almost a year ago, but I think I can complete this one song I've been working on for a long time before 2010.

the last band I was in never laid down recordings.
It was me on guitar, my friend on bass and a metronome with a mic taped to it as the drummer. then we took my cheap keyboard, laid it on the ground and tape cardboard foot pedals to it so i could play chords with my feet while playing guitar. then we ran the keyboard through guitar effect pedals.
we both did some vocals. all we did was play Husker Du covers

www.myspace.com/therunningbandI am not in this band, but two of my very good friends are (Christ and Andy). They play a ton of local shows and have a small gathering around here and in Kentucky. It's reggae rock, sort of mellow stuff. Really good, check 'em out.

www.megaupload.com/?d=1IKELHQX I know this is already over in the uploads thread, but this seemed equally a good place for it. Staticboy was my old hardcore punk band. if you haven't listened, this is our album A Year In The Basement. I hope you like it.

Ghost Shirt Society - www.myspace.com/ghostshirtsocietytampaWe don't have anything original. Or at least anything seriously original. Just random covers including "Living Room" by Tegan & Sara and the theme from the Pokemon gameboy games. The most recent thing is "Black Hole" by She & Him. I think the quality is okay for cheap as free recording (excluding my Pod XT live which I don't really understand very well, and a Rock Band microphone which I didn't really pay for).

were trying to play shows but need a drummer to fill in.

I just recorded a song I wrote over the summer. I'm really happy with the quality, since this is the first time I've actually managed to record something listenable with my POD XT Live's distortion. I don't know or care anything about genres, but my knowledgeable friend describes it as "post-metal." www.myspace.com/twincompass *I'm using this name for everything, but I'm not considering this an actual band. Just something I made when I was bored.

Erm....question....can I whore my radio show here? I mean, yeah, it's not a band. But I'm still playing music. (Just asking a question, please don't rip me a new one!)
AND! I'll even play your songs. Provided their radio friendly or can be made so. Higher ups are kinda sticklers about that.
