Deja has the best lyrics. Guernica and Me vs. Maradona vs. Elvis kill me.

That's definitely my favorite Brand New song to play on guitar. It's so simple and fun.
"Keeping quiet is hard, cause you can't keep a secret if it never was a secret to start."

I love Deja Entendu and still consider it one of my favorite albums but I don't really care about this band as much as I used to. I like TDAG and YFW a lot too but Deja's always been my favorite. I still haven't bothered to listen to Daisy yet either. I thought I would be more stoked about it than I am.
I blame absolutepunk.net.

I've finally had a chance to listen to Daisy several times , and it just keeps getting better with each time. Quite fond of Sink, Daisy and Noro, but all of it is just so satisfying.

Daisy is so awesome. As far as their instrumental performances go, it's their best record for sure.

I don't think I've read a positive review of this album yet. Somehow, though, Crash Love keeps getting "OMG BEST ALBUM OF ALL TIME" reviews. No one gives a shit about the excellent brand new Brand New album, everyone is gushing over the new AFI album that sucks. It's 2006 all over again. Even with the better album, all the glory is going to the other guys on Tiny Evil.

Corey, it took me several listens to really hear it out. The first time it just kind of blended together and sounded weird.

They've never debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts, though, unlike AFI.

Picked up the new record about an hour ago. "Gasoline" is my favorite song.
This could possibly overtake Deja as my favorite BN album. We'll see how I feel after a few more listens.

I have given Daisy a couple of listens. I like the songs, however, I don't think they work together as an album. I feel like the album does not flow well from beginning to end. I enjoy the Seattle influence...I can definitely hear bits and pieces of the early to mid 90's Seattle scene in this record. Am I the only one who picks up on this? That being said, I think Devil and God is an almost perfect album and my favorite Brand New record of all time. Also, seeing them play at The Troubadour was awesome...so much better than I had expected. I don't see them playing the bigger shows that they do...they seemed at home in a club the size of the troubadour.

I have to locate my copies of Deja and YFW. They're so good. I like Deja better though. I listened to a couple of songs from TDAGARIM, but I didn't really care for what I heard. I'll keep trying though. Haven't heard anything from Daisy yet. The leaked 9 demo songs though, are AMAZING.

I don't think I've read a positive review of this album yet. See, the problem is, you're reading reviews. Fuck that shit. Also, I can't wait to see these guys in November. Definitely have to make it happen. Unfortunately (to me), they're playing with Glassjaw, who I couldn't be less interested in seeing.

I love reading reviews. I don't necessarily care what they way, but I do enjoy reading them. I can spend hours on Pitchfork laughing my ass off.
