I don't watch new episodes too often, but the new ADA (not the newest, but the one before her) went back to DC for some reason I think and then Alex stepped back in. She was there for a little while, but I guess she's gone again?

Yeah, Alex stepped in for a few episodes. I don't know why they don't bring Casey back. Seems to me her return would be the easiest to pull off.

For real. I only watch the show on USA so I see the story lines really skipped around so I'm not 100% on what happened to her. Was she disbarred or suspended or what?

She got disbarred. Made me a sad panda.

Just watched an older episode and had no idea Mia Zapata faked her own death to be a one time actress on SVU:

Novak annoyed me. Cabot was way better.

Hahaha @ the Mia Zapata thing. That was actually a really good episode.
What made ya'll like Cabot better? I've always thought Stephanie March was a really wooden actress.

I don't know if I can get behind this show anymore. I love Captain Cragan (sp?) in all his incarnations from the shows over the years, and I still love Munch and Finn, but cannot stand the lame writing and dynamics between Benson and her really intense eyebrow acting, and Stabler. It's so worn out for me. In a super surprising turn, the casting changes (last year? I think so) on Criminal Intent and the original series got me interested in them again. In slightly related news, did any of you in the US get the short season of Law and Order: UK? I kind of loved it, and really really hope it gets picked up and comes back. Though, probably because I love it, the TV gods will never air it anywhere again, because they hate me that much.

I usually only watch syndicated episodes on USA, but I watched a newer one on NBC last night that had some new ADA on it and she seemed like such a bitch. The episode had that one guy from Prison Break.

I think that was the season premiere?
I like it when I finally got a chance to watch it last night, but was surprised at how poor Wentworth Miller was. :/ He's pretty one dimensional as 'angry unstable cop guy making that same face I made all throughout Prison Break that made me look cunning'.
Is he going to be a recurring character? Anybody know?

I saw an old episode of Sex and the City where Stephanie March was playing a power lesbian. It was funny.

Isn't she also in that new movie with Ricky Gervais? Invention of Lying?

Yes, at least from what I've seen in the commercial.

Oh, Wentworth Miller, you're such a dreamboat. Last night was a downer. Oh man, he really is! I have a picture of him on my wall, tee hee. I need to see that episode!

Yeah, Kristin, I agree about Wentworth Miller. JD and I were constantly giggling at how intense he was trying to be, empahsis on trying.

It's was so weird to me, how it kind of worked in the context of Prison Break, but just...totally doesn't in the context of Law and Order, hahahaha. He was like a charicature of himself, or something.

Maybe because things were just so much more intense and immediate on Prison Break? I dunno.

Tonight's was...horrible? Like ok seriously. Stabler in solitary was so UNBELIEVABLE. 3 fucking days? you fucking pussy. I could do a week. for sure. It just seemed forced and like they were trying to show the INTENSITY but it just didnt make any sense in the context.
They need to take lessons from CI. Vincent went into a badly run mental ward place and it was for a large part of the episode. Much better acting, much more believable that his mind was going through those things.
and this new DA is so fucking annoying. the drama seems ridiculously fabricated too. i hope next week is better :\

The bitch slap made me laugh so hard.
Also, loling at the solitary where they use the same clip of him doing push-ups more than once. And the cockroach oh my GOD what was that.

I have a feeling the quality of the show is gonna keep going down with each episode.
Stabler and Benson need to hurry up and bone.

I think Chris Meloni just wanted to revisit his Oz days.
I really, really hope they get rid of the new DA soon. I don't like the road they're going down with her.
But yay for Jessica being on SVU!
