They should just go Nextwave with this show.

Did they decide to make this show as unwatchable as possible?

I thought the deaf chick thing was interestingly done.

I thought the deaf chick thing was interestingly done. I don't know. I guess it was kind of cool while she was playing the music, but the rest of the scenes with her bored my to tears. The only parts that really have me interested, are when Sylar is fucking with Parkman's head. Cracks me up every time.

Ha, yeah, Sylar is pretty much what's keeping the show afloat for me right now.
In regards to the deaf chick...I see she piqued Peter's interest. Let's just hope he doesn't abandon HER in a horrific alternate future too, eh?

Sylar is pretty much the only thing the show has going for it.
All the other characters are just so...underdeveloped.

Yeah, Sylar definitely is the best character. He was always my favorite. Probably because he's the only bad guy who has been around the whole time. The show basically circles around him.

I'm agreeing with everyone on the Sylar thing. He is really the only part of the show that is really interesting anymore. The whole circus hero people storyline is just confusing and seems almost pointless.

Stupid.

Season 1 was great, 2 was just painfully bad. I can't even fathom how they fucked it up so much.
The first half of season 3 was more of the same. Once the Vigilantes storyline started though I thought it redemed itself. I still have yet to watch any episodes this season but I will get around to it eventually.
btw season 3 had the worst use of awesome guys ever. (Marlo and Bubbles from The Wire) Stupid.

I'm tentatively enjoying season 4, sort of. It doesn't seem awful yet, at any rate.

Season one was amazing. Season 2 was shit. Season 3 was better but still meh. Season 4 has been enjoyable so far.
I'm also jumping on the Team Sylar bandwagon. Not only is he freaking hot but it's actually an interesting character.

I enjoyed tonight's a lot, haha. Probably because I love watching Sylar freak out. And I love watching Zachary Quinto in plaid.
I'm interested to see the season one throwback going on with Hiro and Charlie next week!
That kid that HRG and Peter went to track down was totally in the first season of Dexter, also playing a juvenile delinquent-type character, haha.

I forgot to mention, I really love Hiro and Ando. They're just awesome and nice, light characters to have in there.
Word Suitcase Sam. Basically everything in your post I can get behind.

It's weird, but now that Sylar is in that circus "family," all I can think about is "KILL THEM ALREADY GOD DAMN IT!!!" I want him to slice them open soooo bad. I can't wait until he kills the fast guy with the mohawk, or the leader.

I'm thinking that the 'Sylar' part of him is in Matt's head from what I saw of next week's episode. I'm confused with the Charlie thing. Didn't he realize before that he can't 'save' her when he tried the first time? First thing I thought of when I saw him too.

The circus people and Hiro are really the only reasons I'm still watching this season.

Well the circus people are actually starting to make sense now. Before it just seemed like another pointless half-plot.

I'm actually afraid that it will end up being another pointless half plot, which will be such a shame, because they seem to be one of only a very few interesting additions to the show since the first season. It just seems to work. I'd be perfectly content if half the show died and they spent more time with the circus folk. The actors are more engaging than most of the rest of the cast, they seem like they could have some great stories, and the inevitiable "SYLAR KILLS EVERYONE OMG!@" thing is just fucking old.
This is why I hate Heroes. It has, possibly, more potential than any show on television right now. It has that potential every season and they always start something neat and then they say, "Nah, fuck it. Let's do a really drawn out romance angle for Hiro...in the past! And the big sweve? It won't actually mean anything within the context of the show! WE ARE GENIUSES!"
In all seriousness, the "let's hunt 'special' people" angle has been played to death forever, but it works because it's just supposed to. Somehow, Heroes ran with that goldmine and still managed to fuck it up? How? How did they ruin something that practically writes itself? I swear, sometimes, I honestly believe Vince McMahon is behind this show. He's the only other person I know of that can take something so simple and guaranteed to work and fuck it up.
