I just got back from a Brand New show. Glassjaw and Thrice supported.
Thrice were great, as usual. They did a nice, 30 minute set, and threw in some Artist... tracks too. Cool !
Glassjaw, I'm sorry to say, were not all that good. They were ok/fine, but, they just seemed to lack the intensity I've seen before. Quite disappointing, because they were the band I wanted to see the most.
Brand New were fantastic. So good. I haven't seen them live before, but they a 90 minute set, and I enjoyed every second. And now I'm giving The Devil & God... a second chance. I never really liked it all that much, but hearing the songs live really made it click for me.

this could be cool. MIGHT go. then again...live hip hop is like...meh.
not doing h2o the 19th anymore, playing a show that night in trenton with a lot of other similarly themed bands. i expect a bunch of leather clad punk dudes and chicks and many misfits covers. one of the bands is called johnny b morbid. and they're actually not bad. haha. this night is going to rule.
And the great, great crowd, the inexhaustible current of millions of every race and kind pouring out, pressing round, of every age, of every genius, possessors of every human secret, antique and future, in every face the refinement of one particular motive or essence—I labor, I spend, I strive, I design, I love, I cling, I uphold, I give way, I envy, I long, I scorn, I die, I hide, I want.
