Have you ever had a bf that was willing to Gogol with you? Haha, I feel like you've called me from many a show drunk af and by yourself.

I've hit a few DC shows alone which normally isn't too bad if you time getting there right. I had to get there early to buy a ticket off someone for Tegan and Sara and oh my god it was miserable.

Funny you should ask because NO. I remember when I found them when I was like sixteen years old, I got all excited and played a song for my boyfriend and he was like wtf is this shit. I just told Elliot that and he said he had the exact same experience when his high school girlfriend excitedly did the same thing haha. He says it sounded "like a muppet sketch." Actually maybe Matt tolerated them, I don't really remember. Anyway I don't really mind. Except last time I saw them by myself the venue ended up calling paramedics and the fire department because they thought I was having a seizure. It's not a very interesting story, but that happened.

The Dream is Over is awesome and came out this year. They opened with "If This Tour Doesn't Kill You, I Will" right into DVP and the entire place went batshit.

saw Too Many Zooz when I was in Denver. super fun show, even though I wasn't too familiar with them.
I'm seeing Thursday with Basement and Touche Amore on 4/20. Sooooooooooooooo fucking stoked. Ticketmaster can eat it tho with this bullshit $13 total in fees on a $28 ticket. fuck off and die already.

Interpol are playing TOTBL in entirety at two shows in New York and Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am local (to each venue). I will see how expensive it is and then yeah or nah.

I'm seeing the bois (what inspired me to log back in here honestly) and Circa Survive in Atlanta 6/18. Too bad like none of y'all live in the south (I mean actually good 4 you because the south sucks, BUT I never meet anyone at shows :,( ) I'm pretty hype for Circa too. Never seen them live before but my brother has and said they were fantastic

^Thats what my bro said too!
Boris is also gonna be in Atlanta in like October. I'm super considering it even though Atlanta's quite a hike for me because, you know, BORIS.
It's just gonna depend on how broke I am I guess.

Where in the south do you live Erica? I'm seeing AFI in Nashville and I'm sure there's gonna be more DFers there!
Also going up to Chicago in July to see Neurosis and Amenra; didn't get tickets to see Neurosis, Amenra, AND Converge the next night but the show I'm seeing is in a smaller venue so I'm sure it will be fucking sick! Do I know anybody up there these days?

If it wasn't for me having a super old car with a trillion miles on it, I'd be down to travel out to shows a lot more often

I was originally planning on seeing Circa Survive next month, Modest Mouse in September and Every Time I Die in October, but now it's looking like I'll only be able to hit one or two of those. I've already seen MM, so I'm hoping I can see both Circa and ETID. I'm just happy that Fargo finally has a mid-sized indoors venue again so they don't get skipped on every goddamn tour.
