disappointing performance by dion lewis so far, 14 carries 44 yards, but he's still a true freshman and 3.1 isn't bad for him against a defense that stuffed the box. not a bad performance from stull either, 226 yards so far on 15/20 with a TD.
tino sunseri in, all riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

I'm still over losing to Virginia Tech but it was a helluva game. At least we're still ranked...barely.

Some small school has a TE named Scott Sicko.

What are the chances that IU hangs on to this lead?
edit: Nevermind, Forcier just answered my question. What a beast.

And IU answers. Suck it Michigan. This game is significantly more enjoyable than I expected it to be.

Anyone know why Michigan's O-line looks awful? Forcier is getting drilled back there. There's also been a few bad snaps.
Ga Tech knocked off UNC today. Wondering how fucking weird that ACC is going to turn out this year.

WOW. Horrible fucking call. The refs just handed Michigan the game.

Florida State just lost to USF. At home. The ACC is VaTech's division to lose at this point.

The refs just handed Michigan the game. Referee bias in favor of Michigan? Unheard of!

Yeah, that call was complete shit. IU got hosed.
They're showing the Miami/VaTech game here. This'll give me a good idea on who will be favored in the ACC for the rest of the year with all of the upsets that have happened recently.

Holy shit. Tebow got fucking killed. Blind side sack, took it all right in the chest. He kinda laid on the field not moving for a bit, came off the field and started throwing up a ton. They just drove him in to the tunnels. He's responsive and all, but shit, he got the piss beat out of him on that hit.

I was at work during the Oregon/Cal game. The first news I got was 0-3, and my mild apprehension intensified a bit.
Then I found out the final score during my break. Christ!

Norte Dame, lucky bastards.
Watching Texas Tech v. Houston right now. Let's see if college can keep me entertained.
EDIT: Okay, these announcers are already pissing me off.

UH always drops a couple of games in CUSA. But, before last year, UH never beat ranked opponents so its really hard to view where they're going in any sort of context. Just no one who has followed them for any length of time thinks they're running the table this year. But every UH alumni in the world is already satisfied with the season. Its all about setting low expecations. Sumlin is a hell of a coach, though, and our biggest remaining game (Southern Miss) is at home. It's more fingers crossed from here on out than anything else.
Next year has to be the year they really make a jump. This year may just be a primer. They've got a really young team (thank you ESPN for beating in the "half the team has never been on a plane before!" story) and Keenum is a college football stud who will be back for his Senior year. Fingers crossed!
Who wouldn't love to see Boise State, UH and TCU all run the table, though? Fuck yes, college football.

The biggest question mark about Sumlin is how he developed the ability to hold it together late in big games after coming out from under Big Game Bob. He's a breath of fresh air after Briles, who could recruit like hell but whose teams folded any time they played even a reasonably "big" team.
Sadly, I'm not sure UT or Florida drop one the rest of the way. If both of them make it out of October its game over for everyone else. Either way, I'm not sure UH or TCU jump over BSU in the polls. Especially if Oregon keeps rolling and wins the Pac-10. Ok. State and Tech have both got another loss in them which hurts our SOS, and I'm not sure TCU's conference is strong enough to jump them up and ahead 8 spots over BSU.

Fair enough. Even though if an undefeated BSU ends up at 8, that's pretty depressing.
I guess the only thing to do is hope every major conference beats up on each other more than usual this year. And to hope that OU loses out, because fuck OU and Bob Stoops.
