I just finished Life Is Strange and that game fucked me up hard. You have the power to rewind all your decisions and all of a sudden you lose that power when one of your friends is about to kill her self by jumping off a roof, and you have to watch her do that before you get up there and lose you power, and when you get up there you can't rewind you decisions, and I managed to pick the right options, but I was on stream and my best friend killed him self by jumping off a tower like the one in the game and I was super fucked up and I just apologized and ended the stream the second it was over.
I came back and finished the game but holy fuck that game is an emotional roller coaster. At the end of each episode they give you a link to their site that has the mental help hotlines for each country it was published in, thankfully. I can't imagine playing that game as anyone who's gone through any kind of sexual assault. It's a good story. It is, and it's a well done game, but fuck man. It's just a hammer to the soul over and over and over and over again.

Depends on what you mean by deep. There's a very small number of game modes, but the number of characters and their abilities means there's endless strategies and play styles you can experiment with. There's no upgrades or leveling system for the characters but I like that because it keeps things more even if you're playing someone better than you. Number of characters doesn't quite justify a total lack of depth in play modes for me. Maybe someday, though. Banner Saga 2 is free on XB1 this month, so I picked up the first because I heard so many good things about it. IT IS SO GOOD.

yo, so Pokemon Go might be the reason I actually get in shape this summer. I went for like a 1 1/2 mile long walk this morning to get a bunch of PokeStops near my house and caught a punch of Pokemon on the way. It doesn't seem crazy deep as of yet, but i love the concept and think Pokemon is such a good vehicle for a location-based AR game.

Yes. Kat and I just walked a huge loop around the park just to get two pokestops and a bunch of pokemon. We weren't inclined to go to the gym today, so it was a good substitute.

I walked around my street twice today before going to the grocery store just to see if there were any Pokemon hiding and I found a Koffing. Also found a bunch of Pinsir at the park earlier today. This shit is addicting as long as they can keep the server up.
They also pick the weirdest places for Pokestops around here. So far the ones I've found are a church, a coffee shop and a daycare center.

On the plus side I think I've walked 10km this week due to pokemon go. I think a third of that was on a pub crawl though so the beers may have negated the exercise. This game is the greatest thing thats happened to me.

I wonder when they're going to add later gen pokemon? Gold/Silver had great pokemon too! I need dat Lugia! Oh man I want a Lugia so badly. I'm guessing they are gonna parcel it out to keep interest up. I've heard trading, battles and a couple of other things are in the pipeline since it's only version 0.29 right now, but i would wager their biggest task right now is to keep the servers up and get everything running stable. I know gym battles in particular are buggy as hell, the gym leader's Pokemon can get stuck at like 1 HP and just doesn't faint. They have so many possibilities though. It's also amazing how many people I have seen playing it. I went out with a couple of friends two nights ago and we did a hybrid bar crawl/PokeStop crawl since there are a ton downtown and we saw well over two dozen people out and about playing. One of the places we stopped and had beers was also a PokeStop and one of the kitchen stuff put a lure module on it and they ended up getting a couple of people coming in, ordering beers and catching Pokemon. Not a bad way to stir up some business, it seems. I also took a walk there last night and actually ended up walking and talking with some random dude for like 30 minutes. We saw probably a good dozen other people playing it and ended up stopping and sharing tips on 'Mon locations with a few. Caught myself a Scyther and a Geodude!

Had to leave the house today for a showing and caught an Ivysaur at the park. I have no idea where it came from, but it took forever for me to catch it. I'm still trying to figure out where all the Pokestops are. There's a few new ones that the park that weren't there yesterday. I'm going to try another park tomorrow to see what else is lurking. My area is has been pretty much only bug & grass type Pokemon with Pidgey, Spearow & Rattata mixed in. Hoping there's some more variety in other places. There's supposed to be some water types lurking but I can't find any.
I've had a shit week but this game has been a fun stress reliever/escape from life.

Picked up Bloodborne again and finally made some actual progress. Did Hemwick Charnel Lane, beat Vicar Amelia, and did about half the Forbidden Woods (which fucking sucks). I fucked up Eileen's questline and got her killed though, which I'm pretty bummed about.
Also, Chalice Dungeons are bullshit. They're boring and there's very little reward.

Been toying with the idea of getting the PS4 but I'm not thrilled with the fact that there's no backwards compatibility. I have all the old Guitar Hero games and I want the new Rock Band but don't want to have to buy PS4 and a refurbed PS2 for my old games that I can't just use on the new system.
fu, Sony.

I believe you can buy the old track packs for Rock Band 4. And as far as BC with PS2 goes, there aren't even any controller ports for the old guitar/controllers. I think if you have the Rock band kit from PS3 though, you can use those instruments on the PS4.

I live in the middle of nowhere so I'm almost always out of Pokeballs They need to allow trading items, not just Pokémon. I have all kinds of shit I don't need right now. Anyway, I'm super excited they're re-releasing Resident Evil 4 for PS4.

It's definitely the kind of game where you lose track of time. I'm enjoying it! My starter planet was kind of cool, but mostly dull. Then I went to my planet's moon and found a bunch of stuff! It was way better.

My copy should be here tomorrow. Glad I ordered it from Amazon when I did, because now it's saying it'll be 2-4 weeks before it ships.

I high tailed it out of my starter planet ASAP and found a second. I've been there since because there are a lot of Vykeen traders there. I bought a kickass new multitool and am just about to get a new 300K unit ship. I eat sentinels for breakfast and crap titanium into a trader's hands for lunch.

I got the first Dishonored. I'm usually not into stealth games, but it's like being Steampunk Murder Batman crossed with Nightcrawler, it's awesome.

Also, if you can get it cheap, give No Man's Sky a shot. I say that because it's pretty polarizing and a lot of people were disappointed by it, but I think they got sucked in by the hype, so if you go in fresh you might enjoy it more. If nothing else, it's the best "chill out and listen to podcasts for a couple hours" game ever made.
