Irithyll makes me sad that I don't have a PS4...this environment looks so much like everything I've seen of Bloodborne, and it looks so so good.

so, got accused of using hacks on Rocket League today. it was actually kind of hilarious because i have had much better games than that, I only had 2 goals and one of them was pretty damn lucky. i also took it as a mild compliment that i am getting better haha.

Accepted!
If we can get enough people, we should really play Brawlhalla sometime. It's a free Smash Bros clone on Steam. I have only played around with it a little and it's a little wonky if you're used to Smash, but i could see it being super fun with a couple people.

Re-rolled a knight because I missed so many NPC questlines (and those things were some of the best in DS2; the Lucatiel line is just heartbreaking). Quickly back to just having beat Wolnir (which was crazy easy with a Heavy-infused weapon and high strength) and heading down to Smouldering Lake before hitting Irithyll.
A problem (if you can call it that) with the game is that so many of the big mini-bosses can be cheesed so easily. I cheesed the shit out of the Fire Demon in the catacombs by accident; I ran through, woke up every skeleton in the room as I rolled toward the stairs toward the bonfire, and they took him down nearly 3/4 of the way before he leveled them all. Frost Knight can be just as easily cheesed with magic because the doors to Road Of Sacrifice don't open wide enough for it to get through to you. I think the only enemy I have had almost zero luck cheesing is the huge crab. Haven't found the sweet spacing spots that make the moveset predictable.

Picked up Doom the other day, haven't played it much but it's definitely fun.
Dark Souls 3: Made it through Farron Keep and the Abyss Watchers without much problem but I'm about to throw my PS4 out the window because of that fucking roof section trying to get into the Cathedral of the Deep.

Nah I'm talking about the part outside before you even get inside the cathedral, with all the flaming crossbow guys and little Thralls that ambush you.

My girlfriend is stuck in the Crucifixion Forest area, shit had her fucking livid yesterday.
I tried to play it but can't get past the first boss. I suck at video games.

I suck at video games too, so that's why I like to watch Nick play. Except he doesn't want to play the super scary games that I wanna watch

I finally got it yesterday, there's a part towards the end where you can get up higher on the roof and take out the Thralls before they ambush you and that made a huge difference. Really super hate those dancing twin blade motherfuckers, though.

Upon further inspection, DS3 makes sword and board a little too easy. If I can block the final three bosses effectively, that's not hard, right?
Also, Yhorm's Greataxe has been some serious LOLs.

I've had a hard time settling on a main weapon. I like the Farron Greatsword because of that badass special move, but then I got the Great Club up to +3 and added a Heavy Gem and it absolutely ruins the shit of knights and armored enemies.

I'm sure it's fun, but is it deep? I'm not going to gamble on an FPS ever again unless it's super deep.

Depends on what you mean by deep. There's a very small number of game modes, but the number of characters and their abilities means there's endless strategies and play styles you can experiment with. There's no upgrades or leveling system for the characters but I like that because it keeps things more even if you're playing someone better than you.

Uncharted 4 was so awesome.
I've been replaying Uncharted 2 for the past like month too. Fuck, that game is sooooooooo long. Like, I'm at the end in Shambala and I still have sooooo much I have to do.

I've been messing around in the Win10 beta of Minecraft and got a little addicted to it again. Got a sweet little house set up with a garden on the roof, a sugar cane farm and sheep and chicken pens. Plus I have been finding cave after cave in the mine under my house. Probably one of my most successful survival builds ever, I just need to figure out what cool shit I want to build with the resources I've been stockpiling.

Anyone who liked Limbo needs to play Inside ASAP.

I played the first couple of hours of Inside and it was just too heavy-handed for me. Watching a little boy get killed in a variety of unpleasant ways got a little tiring. It's a shame because I actually felt like they did a great job with the tension and atmosphere, but the actual gameplay falls a little short.
