I can ship out Shadow of Mordor, Farcry 4 and Destiny if anyone needs a cheapo PS4 game shipped out to ya. I an also get Bethesdasoft games for $15 if there's anything on there you want. The Evil Within is fucking terrifying if you're into that.

I bought Lords Of The Fallen for 15 bucks, and I have to say, the gameplay is nowhere near as tight as Bloodborne or Dark Souls, but god damn if it isn't the most beautifully lit game I have ever seen.

Rocket League has been owning my life for the last few months. seriously, it might be one of my favorite games ever already, i have like 100 hours into it between my PC and my friend's XB1. it's just so easy to say "one more game" since games are only 5 minutes, but then you realize you said that like a half hour ago. I also absolutely love the new maps and game modes they have been bringing out and I'm kind of stoked for the basketball map. i'm still nowhere near the level of top level players, but the replayability is off the charts and i feel like i get better every time i play.

I'm so pissed because I'm going to be out of town that week and won't be able to play it but I might have that whole next week off and that's all I plan on doing.

Picked up The Division and it's actually a ton of fun.

So many games I want but so many to still playthrough. Going to be waiting on DSIII for awhile. I've still just barely scratched the surface on the first one and Bloodborne.

Dark Souls III all day, ya'll. I'm taking my time and making sure I scour every nook and cranny, though. Before that I finally tried out Halo 5 (I got it months ago when Target had their buy 2 get 1 free deal) and I actually like it a lot.

Got to start a full 45 mins early on Xbox!
This is much more DS1 than DS2, but that's okay (I'm one of the many who spent months grinding souls to beat Ornstein and Smough, then breezed through the rest of the game). The way that the bonfire locations and lower estus numbers limit your exploration is actually cool. Anyone else use the tree exploit in Firelink Shrine to get the Covetous Silver Serpent Ring right off the bat? Muahahahaha.

Yup, and that Estus Shard is a big help early on too.
I'm still poking around the Lothric wall grabbing loot. If you shoot that dragon with like 75-80 arrows he fucks off for good and you can grab the stuff he was guarding and open up some little shortcuts.

Aaaaaand I just realized that because I wasn't paying attention I've been dumping points into the wrong stat; I thought Vitality governed HP, not Vigor. I blame this on being used to Bloodborne where it's Vitality (there's no Vigor stat in BB). I'm only about 3 1/2 hours in, I think I might just start over.

I'm leaving that dragon there for the time being because that dude nets me a quick like 650 souls. Made it to the first real boss without flasks, which sucked. Didn't last long. Anybody beat that katana dude yet? I get close to taking him down every time and then just get hit with a combo.

I'm leaving katana dude alone, I'm not doing a dex build so I don't need his weapon, no reason to fuck with him.

Oh my god, the Curse-Rotted Greatwood is so disgusting. Great boss battle, despite the annoyance of not being able to lock on to any of the places you're supposed to attack.

Haven't taken that dude down yet. I've gotten it down to 1/3 of it's health.

It's the third boss fight I've encountered (including the first "tutorial" one) and it's not even a mandatory one, so you may have just missed the boss.

Yeah, the trick to beating that dude is don't lock on when you're trying to attack. Finally beat him after numerous tries.

It's pretty hard to miss the Greatwood. You will almost certainly pass the fog wall after the spot where the giant is sniping the shit out of everyone and everything.
Beat my first Lord Of Cinder, and I wasn't terribly impressed with the mechanics of the fight. I mean, that applied to most main story bosses for the first two games as well, so no harm, I guess.
The area after this fight, while not Sen's Fortress - level punishing, is pretty hardcore. Very fun and Indiana Jones-y too!

I was in the Crucifixion Woods when some asshole invaded my game and killed me. I was pretty pissed since I had just taken out those crabs.

High Lord Wolnir may be the coolest looking boss fight in all three Dark Souls games. Not particularly hard, but such a great concept. I like em big.

Hit the Crystal Sage way overpowered, and now the Cathedral seems much easier than it probably should WHOOPS!

What class/build are you rolling with, Jack? Started out sorcerer. I always do. The patterns on early zone mobs are always magic friendly (well, in 2 and 3 for sure; 1 not so much). I'm currently level 56, looking like: Vigor 19 Attunement 24 Endurance 12 Vitality 11 Strength 14 Dexterity 19 Intelligence 21 Faith 13 Luck 12 Currently have ten flasks at +4, usually 7/3 or 8/2. Rocking Herald set, Dragon Crest Shield +1, straight up Raw Longsword +6, Pyromancy Flame +4, and Heretic Staff +3. For rings, Covetous Silver, Estus, Young Dragon, and Saint's (though I'm moving away from magic more as I progress). Great and Great Heavy Soul Arrow, Great Magic Weapon, Chaos Bed Vestiges. I'm experimenting with twinblades but they were way nerfed from 2. I'm too lazy to figure out combos for a lot of other weapons, and I never go heavy strength, so I never use any of the comically large weapons. Turtle and poke is my MO, and once I get to a supply of titanite chunks (I'm sure there are later respawning mobs that drop them), having +9 raw weapons is nice and consistent.
