Well, its the 5th, so might as well get this thread rolling!
Looking forward to, from what I can remember and find on the internet:
Bowie Basement Major Lazer The xx Ty Segall Bloc Party LCD Soundsystem (!) Death Grips Nine Inch Nails (!!!) Modest Mouse Gorillaz Deftones
I am also reallllly curious how the blink-182 album w/ Matt Skiba is going to turn out, but I am optimistic. I also think the new Bad Religion album should be good, I really enjoyed their last one.
Still waiting on Kanye, Brand New, Radiohead and a few others that didn't come out last year.
Overall, this year is shaping up to be pretty decent with just what is rumored and confirmed so far. Can't wait.

Himsa, Dead Swans, and Static Radio NJ have all confirmed activity recently, so new music from them would be wonderful.
Off With Their Heads' new record is being produced by Laura Jane Grace!
Arms Aloft will have a new record in Spring which is going to be amazing.
But basically if Crime in Stereo doesn't release new music in 2016 I will throw myself into the ocean.
Hi board.

Letlive and Norma Jean are the first two I can think of but I'm sure there's a lot more.

I completely forgot OWTH were recording, which means they will also be touring. Hell yeah. The new one should be cool with Laura producing, but I have ended up loving all of their albums anyways. And AGREED. They have been kind of quiet, but that makes me think we'll see something this year. I also just read that the Ghostface Killah/MF Doom album is supposed to be out this year, but I think they have said that every year since 2010. I just want the damn thing, the couple tracks that have got out are amazing.

That new Kanye song he released on New Year's Eve is so fucking awful, I hope it's not an indicator of the rest of the album.
The only two things with confirmed dates that are on my radar so far are Savages and Mount Moriah.

Didn't Modest Mouse just put out an album?
Only album I really know about that I'm interested in is Ignite's new record this week.

Didn't Modest Mouse just put out an album? Yup! Isaac said they basically worked on both albums at the same time and I think first talked about it last March or so? If Strangers to Ourselves is any indication, it should be awesome.

Facts was fun, but not great. Now he just dropped Real Friends and No More Parties in LA (that fuckin Madlib beat and FUCKING KENDRICK), which I dig a lot more. Plz give us Cruel Summer 2 and SWISH. Edit: haha, release date is 2/11. Glad there isn't too long of a wait.

Rihanna's new album was free and some of the last songs make me wish Rihanna became a straight up soul/blues singer! So good. Definitely not the dance-y Rihanna I like, but still pretty good if you're in the right mood.

the kanye hype is getting to me. looks like a ton of the following are going to be on the album based on the notepad that keeps being posted and the songs and snippets out and about: Earl Sweatshirt, Chance the Rapper, A$AP Rocky, Puff Daddy, Kid Cudi, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, Sia, Vic Mensa, Kendrick Lamar, The-Dream, Tyler the Creator, Cyhi da Prince, Young Thug, Fonzworth Bentley, Rakim and Andre 3000. like... at LEAST 3/4 of those are going to make the final album and that's still just insane. even if they don't show up, it looks like he's making this similar to MBDTF and getting input from a ton of people. edit: cudi, 3k and ye together: pbs.twimg.com/media/CZ89_hkUcAAxdyK.jpg gooooood lord, i would die if they were all three on one of the tracks.

Also just gave Bloc Party's new album a listen. It's appropriately titled, Hymns. It's very gospel-y. Boring and no hooks. Oh well, Oh well, I can't imagine anything ever topping Silent Alarm. Way to set the bar way too high guys.

I feel the same way about the new Bloc Party, Aaron, I wasn't expecting it to be so... flat. Kinda disappointed. :/
Listening to the new Say Anything right now and I was not expecting this at all hahaha. I just got past Goshua and these rap parts are cracking me up, but i am digging it. So Numb is a really damn good song though. I just fucking love Max.
Edit: Princess starts out like a Touche Amore song almost, but oh my god these lyrics hahahaha. So far this has been a really interesting mix of styles.
Would you spit in Little Lucy’s face Because she watches the movie Frozen And she wants to be a princess Even though Disney employs nearly genocidal business practices?

I also got the new Sam Means record, but haven't given it a listen yet. He worked with Steven McDonald, so I'm hoping for some indie pop goodness.

So, given The Life Of Pablo (or at least the unfinished version) about a week to digest now. Overall, I have to say I love it. The production is on point, the features are great (Chance the Rapper's verse is phenomenal and Desiigner was damn impressive on both features. Also, only Kanye would get Andre 3000 on a track to sing two words) and the energy of the album is infectious. It honestly sounds like a mix of his albums all in one, I keep hearing little callbacks here and there that make me super happy. Now, the cons are some of the lyrics (although I do find the first lines of Father Stretch My Hands Pt 1 hilarious now) and the album feels a bit haphazard at times. Oh and I am a bit salty that Vic Mensa and Sia got cut from Wolves, but it was nice to hear Frank Ocean. The whole rollout was a shitshow, but i think it was worth the wait.
