Are you people watching this shit? Not as good as the original but I still love it and it makes me want to give Neil deGrasse Tyson a big ol' hug even more than I did before. Kinda bummed the finale is on Sunday already.
Every time I think about the fact that there are things so far away we can't see them because the universe hasn't existed long enough for the light to get to us I just...I don't....what. WHAT. what.

I really like it, though I feel sometimes that it spends too much time talking about the lives of historical/famous scientists.

Yeah, I feel the same way. Some of it is interesting (like the stuff about Newton being a total whackjob), but I really don't need a whole episode dedicated to some dude I've never heard of.
Though I do like that they point out that just because all the scientists people have heard of are old white guys doesn't mean that there aren't non-white non-guy scientists who were very important, and the reason you haven't heard of them is generally old white guys.
