Does anyone like any of the new shows on the networks? Is there anything I should be watching?
I mostly started this thread to talk about how Two Broke Girls is so offensive it's almost impressive that they manage to get some of that stuff on air.

I watched the first episode of The New Girl, but I didn't like it enough to keep watching it.

This is pretty much the only thing I have caught so far, and damn. Daaaaamn. So so so bad. I have Terranova and Ringer DVR'd but the snippets of reviews that I have seen haven't made me feel like rushing to check them out. I also hear that The Playboy Club has already been canceled. Turns out nobody wanted it after all.

Two Broke Girls is so racist and so ableist and the leads have zero comedic timing or delivery. It's what I've come to expect from Michael P King though.

The only thing I've really bothered to catch was Person of Interest. It was okay? Certainly not terrible? I'm pretty much only there for Michael Emerson? I would watch Michael Emerson read names out of a telephone book for 45 minutes each week?

The dude who plays Whitney's boyfriend is such an awful actor. And they have absolutely no chemistry.
The one with Hank Azaria is garbage.
Up All Night is OK at best. Maya Rudolph is amazing. I get a few chuckles because I'm like "that's us!" but I can't imagine that the other 300 million people in this country that didn't recently have a kid would even care.
My wife liked that one show where the chick gets revenge for her dad's death. I didn't really care too much about it.
Not digging this year, even the returning shows.

We watched another one, too, but I seriously can't remember anything about it so it must've sucked too.

Up All Night is hilarious and has a lot of potential. I can see it getting cancelled midway through season 2 though.
Also I'm watching PRIME SUSPECT which is pretty good. I didn't know new yorkers had those crazy accents though, csi new york has totally lied to me.

I watched the first episode of The New Girl, but I didn't like it enough to keep watching it. Ya, I found it... off? It gets funnier, though. The third episode had plenty to laugh at and enjoy. Especially the ending, OMG. Terranova is okay. Not that exciting, really. Two Broke Girls had a humorous gag or two, but the stereotypes were off-putting. That's one of the things about The New Girl that was much better by comparison. Interested in both American Horror Story and Grimm. Hope they're good.

I don't understand why every comedian on twitter is reccing Free Agents. I watched four episodes because I thought it was going to be amaaaaaaaaazing and it's horrible.

I like Terra Nova so far. I still have yet to watch Homeland, but my guy says it's very good. Two Broke Girls is ok, but New Girls is A LOT better. Ringer is ok, but Sarah Michelle Gellar is starting to get on my nerves. Playboy Club is ok, but definitely not going anywhere.
I have American Horror Story recorded but still have to watch it. I'm hoping it's good. Anyone else heard about Once Upon A Time? I saw a couple previews for that and it seems interesting.

I need to check out PanAm. One of the actors from my show is one of the leads and she's lovely.

I don't understand how Whitney is so polarizing when it's such a generic show. Like, it's not half as bad as the haters make it out to be, but it's not half as good as the defenders make it out to be.
Also, found out yesterday that she was born in 1982. She's a year older than me?

Yeah, Whitney is just really bland. A few of my friends insist it's worse than Two Broke Girls, but it has 100% less overt racist humor and jokes equating autism with stupidity so I don't see it.

American Horror Story seemed interesting to me for a few seconds. Then I realized I'd never watch it for the same reason I've never watched an episode of Glee: Ryan Murphy.

Even if Two Broke Girls wasn't a terrible show, I still wouldn't watch it because I can't stand Kat Dennings.

I only sorta watched American Horror Story because the family decided to watch it while I was mid-project, but it seemed... all over the place. It was as if the show had no idea what it wanted to say... save for the OMG SCARY SHIT factor. Which might be sense enough itself. I'll have to watch it again with some focus. Also: HOLY FUCK, GIMP COSTUME SEX

Sarah and I just watched American Horror Story. Seemed like it was trying really hard to be ~mature.~ It wasn't great, but it was only the pilot. Hoping it gets better.

I've caught a few minutes of Whitney here and there. It's kind of frustrating because a lot of the jokes are pretty good, but 1.) goddamnit I hate laugh tracks, and 2.) Whitney delivers all her jokes like she's doing stand-up, and it bugs me.

Oh man, CBS's Monday line-up is one of the worst things ever. I finally wanted to sit down and watch Mike & Molly because I always forget it's on. Huge mistake. The show was good, but I'll wait til it streams on Netflix because I'm not watching Two Broke Girls and Two and a Half Men ever again.
