That sucks. Where can I try-out?
That other band sounds fucking awesome, though. I love the Hope Conspiracy.

Holy fuck. Grey Britain is one of my favorite albums, and as great as the rest of the band is on it, Frank makes that band what it is. I don't think you can replace that guy's voice.

Interesting, his brother's band, Clouds, is like heavy pop rock--borderline stoner metal.

Such poopy news. Was really looking forward to hearing their next album (with Frank). And I was also hoping I'd eventually get to see a headlining Gallows show with him. I won't complain though because I was lucky enough to see them 4 times with AFI. Anyways, I'm still looking forward to the new Gallows stuff, along with whatever Pure Love will bring.

I figured he would quit soon because I remember him saying in an interview that tattooing is his passion and music is "a hobby he gets paid for," but then I see he's starting a new band which confuses me but I'm excited to hear it. Haven't listened to this band in awhile but I still enjoy them.

So I guess Wade Macneil from Alexisonfire is gonna take over vocal duties.
Gallows, eh?

Well, that's an interesting choice...I still haven't heard Wade's stuff in Black Young but his vocal style in AOF is pretty different from Gallows' style.

I thought that Color & City or whatever dude was the singer of AOF?

Yeah that dude is the main singer. Wade is the guitarist/backup vocalist I guess.

George Pettit is the lead singer of AoF.

They had three guys do vocals. Wade didn't do a lot of singing until their last two records, though. George mainly does screamed/rough vocals and Dallas did the clean singing.

Wade did a lot of vocals on the self-titled I believe, but they were a lot different than his contributions later on. That's super interesting and pretty awesome news, though. I'm pretty glad Alexisonfire broke up because they've been going in a less great direction.

I didn't hear Old Crows, but Crisis was my favorite AoF album.

Mine has always been the self-titled. The first time I heard Pulmonary Archery it was the heaviest music I had ever heard at the time and was blown away.

i've honestly never been big on alexisonfire at all, but i'll definitely check out new stuff from Gallows regardless.

Old Crows/Young Cardinals is awesome and the EP they released after it was an awesome progression from it, I thought. Reminded me more of their older style but with clearer production and more direction.

New song sounds like all the other hardcore bands in the world. This is exactly what I came here to post. Not surprised, still bummed though. At least I won't be spending money on a ticket to see them when they come here?

Uh...that sounds almost exactly like an older ETID song. Wade sounds almost identical to Keith Buckley which is weird because he didn't sound anything like that in AOF.

Song ain't bad, but it isn't Gallows...
Will be interesting to see how Wade pulls off Frank's songs live.

It could be better, but I'm holding any judgement until they've released more.
