If not then here it is.
Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightning, Master of Puppets, And Justice For All.. So good and they have some other good songs sporadically after that period.
let's discuss them.

I feel like I'm in the minority because I like Lightning more than Puppets.
I love the songs on Justice, but the production kind of ruins it for me.

I know tons of people who like RTL more than MOP.
I like both equally. They make sense together.
Kill Em All is my favorite though. It's a lot more raw and still has those Dave Mustaine riffs. One of my favorite albums to get me pumped up about going to 8:00am classes in college.

you know, I actually didn't hate Death Magnetic that much. it was a bit boring, but it was loads better than the albums preceding it. the video for All Nightmare Long was fucking sweet too.
Kill Em All>Master Of Puppets>Ride The Lightning>...And Justice For All, as far as the stuff that I usually listen to, though.

I love playing "Seek & Destroy" on my guitar in the garage as loud as I can get away with.

Yeah, Ride The Lightning is my favorite too and Master of Puppets is actually my least favorite out of their first four albums.

I've never been able to get my interest past Kill Em All and the first half of Master Of Puppets. Those albums are so great and I'll never forget the family road trip I took out east when I was 12 and played Kill Em All on repeat for the entire time.
The first time I had ever heard of Metallica was in a Nickelback interview.

I will jump into camp Ride the Lightening. Almost exclusively because of Fade to Black, though. My favorite Metallica song and my favorite Boy Sets Fire cover.

The first time I had ever heard of Metallica was in a Nickelback interview. Haha holy shit! And I'm not laughing at where you heard it, but like, HOW YOUNG ARE YOU?! I remember the video for "One" originally airing. [/old]

I was one of those kids who heard "Enter Sandman" on the radio and thought it sounded badass, haha.

Haha, their s/t came out when I was like 8.
Another old man realization today: we used to get in trouble for singing "Love Shack" at school. Guys at work thought that was real hilarious.

Master of Puppets is the greatest album in the history or music. Fuck you if you disagree.

Ha, it's not even my favorite Metallica album, so I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you there.

"Phantom Lord" is a bad ass song that no one ever talks about
Awesome punk riffage.
