Someone described it as him "going through reverse-puberty since Stay What You Are."

Its because he started taking singing lessons after that record and now uses his more "natural" voice.

Fucking awesome. Look at the size of the instruments in relation to the kids. The drummer is bad ass. I was also watching the guitar player shred on other vids. Bad fucking ass.

I found his vocals on the new song more tolerable than the past few albums. Maybe that's another reason why I liked it so much.

You guys should listen to this band that my friends started. Their demo comes out next saturday, and then they start their first west coast tour. I can post the dates if anyone gives a shit. They're playing with Spanish Gamble for most of the Cali dates, and another local band called Livingston Seagull is on the tour as well (think a messier Hot Water Music). bowlcut.bandcamp.com/album/bowlcut-demo-2011

another new Saves The Day song. I like this way more than the other one, i still am not the biggest fan of how he sings now though. :/

I like it, but I prefer the other one I really hope the album is good considering how long it took for it to come out

new Wonder Years album is really good, i might end up liking this more than The Upsides. they're really refining their sound and the drumming is so excellent.

Cheap places to buy the Wonder Years new album?

avon, Best Buy will probably have it for cheap when it's released, otherwise direct from Hopeless would be a good bet.
this album reminds me quite a bit of older The Starting Line. will definitely be jamming this and the Joyce Manor s/t a ton this summer.

The Wonder Years album is fantastic. It was definitely better after a couple of listens and there are still some songs growing on me.

Yeah, I'm really liking this album. "I Won't Say the Lord's Prayer" is super preachy (no pun intended) and obnoxious, though.

Yeah, that's my least favorite. It's too obvious/straightforward and such a boring, overdone topic to be "political" about.

I think my favorite right now is "Woke Up Older."

Listened to both Broadway Calls records today while walking to the grocery store. It's actually been awhile since I last listened to them but I still love both records.

I gave it a spin the other morning and thought it was alright. That was just me having it on in the background while I played The Show, though haha. I did grab Big Kids newest album last night and I'm excited to finally give this band a listen.

Fuck, that would be awesome.
I've been listening to the new Gateway District album a lot lately. It's great driving music.

Thoughts on new Blink song? I think it's pretty damn mediocre. There are good parts but it doesn't really have any aspect of that unique Blink sound; it sounds so typical "mainstream rock." Which is obviously what they are now, cool for them but here's hoping the rest of the album is less "this is our crash love"-esque.

honestly it's what i expected and i'm completely happy with it. it sounds like the blink s/t mixed with AVA and some +44. travis' drumming is stellar though.

I like it. Sounds like it could have been on the s/t, which is what I was expecting.
