We played with them once back when they still had a keyboard player. That was some crazy shit.
I got to see them a couple times after that.
I never really liked any of their music after the EP other than "Say It Like You Mean It" which was a really great song.

Surprised you didn't post "Disconnected," Andre www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVRLDJ7NhbMwell, here it is. This song reminds me of being 12 and going to a friends house to play some crappy MTV Snowboarding playstation game just so we could put that song on repeat.

the new Fireworks album leaked and I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with it. the vocals are a lot less whiny than their previous releases and the songwriting has improved quite a bit. it sort of reminds me of The Upsides, but less upbeat. definitely worth a listen, so here you go: www65.zippyshare.com/v/94317675/file.html

I'll take your word for it. Fireworks got annoying for me fast because of the vocals, especially on the full-length, haha. They put on a good show when I saw them despite the crowd being obnoxious as fuck, though.

I listened to the new Fireworks. I still can't really get into them, but I really like the first song.

Fireworks opened for Bayside (and less importantly New Found Glory) when I went to see them and the venue has a big screen where you can text whatever you want to it, and like 90% of the comments were hating on them when they were on and no one was feeling it. I liked them though

In order for you to play with this record, we must tune your guitar to ours. We'll start with the first string.

Weird, I was listening to that record the other morning. First time in awhile I spun it actually.

Wonder what crappy band they'll sign to counter that with, haha.

They just signed some band from Australia. I'm already guessing they're awful.

I think you got them mixed up with Alexisonfire or something, who I do love.

Is Alesana half as bad as Bring Me the Horizon and other katkatkat type music on Epitaph?

Any of you dudes like Living With Lions. Their debut album got kind of boring to me but I'm really liking their new album. Reminds me a lot of some early 00's Fat Wreck bands but I'm too lazy to name drop right now. This band and The Swellers are probably my favorites out of this new pop-punk scene going on right now. Think it's because the vocals are less whiny and the music's more guitar driven.

I've been meaning to check it out. The shit theme made me think it would be whatever, but I'm still going to give it a listen.
I've actually been loving the new Fireworks. VERY whiny, VERY poppy, but too catchy for me to resist.

Haha yeah, I forgot about the god-awful album title.
I did listen to the new Fireworks, though and that guy's voice made me cringe on the first track but the album got better as it went on.

Is it any better than that first single they put out because that was awful?
I haven't listened to the new Living With Lions, but I do wish I was seeing them somewhere in Ontario next week with Such Gold.

Depends. Which song was the first single? Because if it was the first track then yes.
