So ready for Magic-Heat tonight. I may end up watching every Heat game just to see if they'll lose, cause it makes me happy inside.

Go Wizards?
I'll have my yearly attempt to get into basketball this year. I hear the Wizards had a good draft.

I hate rooting for LeBron but as he goes, so go the Heat. I think this year is going to be messy. That first game was hard to watch.

Man the Heat whooped the ass off the Magic. Looking at the game and the loss to the Celtics, I think the biggest difference was that Boston played a very relaxed game, and the Heat didn't feel the need to play with any kind of intensity which worked in Boston's favor. Orlando played really physically but couldn't outdo the Heat at it.

I just got home to see the last quarter of the Blazers/Knicks. It was so stressful, and the last minute was what I hate most about the fucking NBA: the last minute takes TWENTY MINUTES to play.
Anyway. 3-0.

I'll have my yearly attempt to get into basketball this year. I try every year since my cousin and aunt are big basketball fans but I always forget along the way. I did watch a Knicks game on Friday. I think i'm starting to get into more sports because I have basic cable and everything on it sucks so I might as well just watch a game instead.

Currently watching the Knicks get booed straight out of MSG. Rough stuff.

I had to pull this thread out from the cellar to say one thing:
"Hey Lakers... hahahhahahaha."
That's all.

All of Southern California just imploded, I'm sure.
The streets seemed a little dead this morning.

Two years ago when they won it all, I had to fight my way through the streets of Anaheim. I can't imagine what it would have been like in LA.
Honestly, I'm just glad to see the Mavericks chalk up a strong sweep. Dirk deserves more than the low class attention he gets.

I don't follow or care about the NBA, but I saw that elbow that Bynum threw on Sportscenter. What a classless, dangerous fuckwad.

Ya, that was about as absurd of a response to game frustration as I've ever seen. Incredibly poor choice from a guy not completely respected to begin with.

This Vancouver/Seattle game is nuts. A great Northwest rivalry could spur from this!

It bums me out, because per the Oilers/law of stolen teams (In like, the past 20 years), I'm left to cheer only for the Mavs in the West. And, you know...fuck Dallas.
I guess what I'm saying is I hope the Bulls roll the shit out of everyone, and holy shit it has been an amazing playoffs.

Whatevs, I'm 'bout the Mavs from here on out. They knocked the Blazers out? Might as well go all the way.
That foul on Barea was bullshit. And really the only thing I don't like about Dirk is his tendency to flop.
In summation, fuck the Lakers, and the NBA is mostly dead to me for the season. And...go Mavs.

I'm hoping for another Heat-Mavs finals. I'd bet on the Bulls though. Even though I'm a Heat fan, I'm pretty comfortable with any of the other three teams winning it all.

I haven't been following the games closely, but I'm hoping for Mavs/Bulls. Mavs/Heat would be interesting though. Both Dirk and LeBron have huge chips on their shoulder regarding a championship win.

The game yesterday was mightily entertaining. I'm not stoked Miami took it, but whatever. Who cares.
Matt's pulling for OKC for some reason. I think that's like a Pacific Northwest sin or something.

The only thing keeping me from 100% backing the Mavs in the finals is that Kidd is a wife beating piece of shit.
