I had forgotten just how hard Year Zero rocks. GOD. Such an amazing piece of work. YZ is fantastic, absolutely.

It's better than With Teeth, I don't think there is even any debate on that. Although I do enjoy quite a lot of With Teeth.

Holy shit, this thread was far back. Sorry to dig it up, but I have a question. Has anyone else downloaded Another Version of the Truth? I gave my shitty connection a workout and downloaded the .MOV file. It's pretty solid and definitely captures the Lights in the Sky tour, but I can't tell if the sometimes jerky video is the actual footage itself, or if it's because my computer has such little memory.

I just wanted to bump this thread because I've been hooked on this bad recently. After years of trying to listen to them (I downloaded their whole discography a while back)...I was bored with everything else I was listening to at the time, a few months ago, and I put them on and I've been hooked since.
And I just got Pretty Hate Machine on vinyl.
The End.

Nice. I'm the same as you, I used to find them so boring but now I love the Downward Spiral.

Nice. I'm the same as you, I used to find them so boring but now I love the Downward Spiral. what makes Reznor so special, aside from his gutsy live performances and cantankerous hate of basically everything, is just...he writes amazing pop songs and then sheaths them in noise and electronic punishment. he's the guy.

I have never been a super huge NIN guy, but I've always liked them.
I really do love this record album and it may have made me a super fan? Maybe I'll have to go back and visit the rest of the discography to find out.
