Embrace! I recently bought a three dollar Embrace t shirt and have been listening a lot on my way to school and such. Do they even count? I don't know. RoS and One Last Wish always, of course.

One Last Wish, Adorno, and Saetia, as per usual.
Planning on a Rites of Spring/Embrace tattoo. It will never happen because I will never be able to afford it, but I have the idea.

Mineral was one of my favorite bands in middle school but I'll admit I haven't given them much of a listen recently, which makes no sense. Fixing this now.

I wouldn't call them emo. Same. Some aspects of their music maybe, but the overall sound doesn't seem straight-up emo.

Rival Schools and Elliott lately. I'd say Polar Bear Club is pretty damned close to emo.

I bought a 7" recently with End of a Year and 315.
Why do so many emo bands have highly-skilled musicians?
Also, Fischer is really good. Ghostlimb/Fischer split is about all I've listened to lately.

Admiral is amazing. The DC sound isn't really my favourite, but I really fucking like this. Good call Andre.

Daniel Striped Tiger: www.myspace.com/danielstripedtigerThey're from Boston, and they self-financed a tour out to Australia earlier this year, playing the smallest, dingiest venues and it was really fucking rad. I guess it was just really exciting to see a band who is doing something interesting with this genre still.
