I feel burnt out if I do 100 songs a day. For two weeks in a row I scrobbled over 700 songs a week. And then the third week (last week) I scrobbled around 650. Right now I only have over-the-ear headphones to listen to tunes. My ears got kinda... soggy. That's gross.
Maybe they're really short songs.

I'm pretty sure listening to Kpop is literally all Mindy does. After doing some quick calculations, you're right. That's 227 SONGS A DAY. I can't see how that's even possible. That's over 11 hours a day if the songs are all 3 minutes long, haha. It wouldn't surprise me, though. But she was just watching a show and AIM said she had music going, so maybe she's a dirty cheater.

I have iTunes playing several hours throughout the day, hahaha. And when it's not that, it's my iPhone. Both of which are scrobbled. I've seen waaaaay higher numbers than mine within a similar time frame, though. Don't underestimate Asian pop music fans. It's killing me that DBSK is on their twice, haha. I'm obsessive over having all my music labeled and organized properly. It would drive me absolutely insane if I had both their Korean and Japanese songs under the same name.

old time relijun!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah. Too bad I only really listen to Lost Light and Witchcraft Rebellion, otherwise they'd be further up. I'm kinda flabbergasted by the lead Cop Shoot Cop has. What is my obsession with this band? It's probably unhealthy. Especially considering every goddamn album is out of print, so it's all evil, evil downloaded shit.

I like his singing though. A friend who doesn't like that sort of music recommended them to me a year or two ago, because I guess she thought they sounded like the Birthday Party or something (I can't imagine what other band she was thinking of when she said "this sounds like something you'd like"). They popped up on some internet radio thing she was using, I think.

I think they mostly just sound like Beefheart. Like a (relatively) more conventional Trout Mask Replica.

Well yeah, but for someone who hadn't heard Beefheart, and had only heard early Birthday Party. . .yeah.
Trout Mask Replica is too weird for me. I'm a fan of that kind of thing LITE. Haha. I appreciate the influence but yeah, some my favorite stuff is music that takes elements of that and runs with them, but I can't go pure. . .or something like that.
EDIT: On reading this, I realize that I'm AWFUL at articulating myself lately. Sorry. Don't know why.

I know what you mean, but goddamn, I love that record so much. Probably more than anything it ever influenced, though I love everything it did influence.
Silly thing about posting mine, since my play counts are so low it's already changed.

CURSES. I didn't realize until JUST NOW that when I charge my brother's iPod for him on my computer, it scrobbles all of his songs on my last.fm. Hence the fact that Lil Wayne is my number 5. My iPod only scrobbles occasionally, and that's where I listen to the majority of my music, so it's kind of inaccurate. AND WHY IN THE SHIT IS LINKIN PARK ON THERE?! AND WHO IS DAVE ATTELL? DAMN YOU AND YOUR SHITTY MUSIC TASTE, MATTCHEW. DAMN YOU.

Dave Attell is that comedian who had that show Insomniac, which was a pretty good show.
if you want to remove said artists, just click on your page where it says "'s library" and when you hover over the artists' pictures you should be able to click an X in the top-right corner, which will delete the artist from your library and therefore not make your music taste look quite so... questionable, haha.

I don't understand how the fuck some of you have artists in the thousands and more, and its only been a year. I've had my account since 2005 and AFI is at number one with 767 plays. Like, do you guys have multiple iPods playing 24/7?
Edit: Nevermind. Come to think of it, there was a long period of time where 1) I lost my old iPod and listened to only cds in my car; 2) laptop was too shitty to have Winamp open along with other programs; 3) laptop died; and 4) when I finally got my iPod replaced, I restored it a couple times because I was trying to jailbreak it.

This only goes back a month, but whatever. Oh, and 14 and the first 18 are the same thing. Not sure what happened there. I think I listened to the song 3 times before I changed the artist title to Korean. The second 18 and the last 22 are the same too. Dammit! WMP fucked everything up.

Yep. Super Junior/Super Junior M/SM Town were downloaded on April 19th, Super Junior T/Super Junior H on the 29th, SHINee/DJ MASA on the 2nd, and everything else 2 days ago.

Yeah, as soon as I put it on I just kinda let it fade into the background and it loops for an eternity. This is just the last 12 months though and I've had my last.fm for forever, so they're #16 overall. That's still pretty high. Jesus.

I haven't had anything set up to scrobble in a really long time, but this is relatively accurate. My life has been severely lacking in metal lately. I don't even like Owl City. I was kind of into it until I went to a show and it was shit. Chris Walla was right, that dude owes Ben Gibbard a pony for making so much money out of sounding just like The Postal Service.

If I did my math right, that's about 13 hours of Kpop a day, assuming the average length of each song is 3 1/2 minutes. I'm definitely sure the songs are longer, so maybe more around 15-16 hours a day. Soo, every waking moment you're listening to Kpop?

I reset my stats in October, but most of these bands would have been quite high in the list anyway.
